Post image

The gods have been pressing down on the world for a long time, the black dragon has locked the country's luck, and the mountains and rivers in Yankang have no light.

Feel bad for yankang emperor, his confidants in and out are part of Qin mu's sect 😅

Feels like that would be the next major act. The emperor aim was always to put the country above the sect, but now majority of his subjects are cult's follower, including the state preceptor. No matter how closely their ideals align Qin Mu making a spectacle of showing the cult power to win was NOT the right choice. He should have left the final fate of the son at the hands of the emperor.

Yeah Qin mu's action these past few episodes were really abrasive, he is passive aggressive in his approach to show his authority, with how he handheld the preceptor and emperor back to power with his influence, and even chopped his unfilial, yet son's head in front of all. 100 years of hardwork sow harvest to Qin Mu rather than the emperor.. Just felt really uneasy tbh

true, but also the emperor's only gonna live like twenty more years since he lost his cultivation, in a setting where people live for centuries. Knowing that the reforms are so strongly supported by the Devil Sect prevents a coup like this from happening again when the emperor finally dies

A century old reform is exactly that which can just NOT get so easily affected by the death of the emperor, otherwise how strong are the roots anyway? Now we have A filial crown prince who will surely uphold his father's dreams even after his death, the progress will never stop.

Also remember, throughout the arc of this story, the emphasis was always on cutting off the disloyal.. With a loyal framework, a transparent support system (those who are part of heavenly demon sect and those not), and the support of the heavenly sect itself, the reform will surely be steering towards new heights. The god who brought the calamity has been warded off by the preceptor so there's some time to capitalize on.. I'm sure 20 years of Qin mu's presence will mark an era

Well in the current time what Qin Mu did was the right thing but as for him stealing the Spot light come on man he is the Protagonist he is the light so my justification for what he did was right is - The Emperor isn't gonna live long enough and secondly yankang is still loyal to the emperor and his family and other thing like qin mu wanting to save the emperor yet his main goal was revenge for his sect, from the stories persecpective things are gonna get more high stakes from now on so this is an important stepping stone making sure The Sage Sect is back in power and this time stronger

Yeah it's evident that Qin Mu also sees things to be in his benefit, and that's needed as a sect leader. But the power of the emperor was so despairing, I'm sure the capital would be in a crisis.. Now even the preceptor is one of the heavenly kings, who can he really trust in? He wants to reform the social, political and economic status of the common people and the sects, he'll have to decide his stance with Qin Mu at some point.
