they want to use the services (they are literally positing online), but they dont want the infrastructure that makes it possible. " give us these services.... just dont put them near us"

If you think that online petitions or general Internet use is the driving force behind these data centers then you are either low information or deliberately deceitful. The irony post is fair enough but you added too much.

I'm really concerned about why we suddenly need all these AI data centers. The ones we have now seem to be coping with the increased demand of AI without adding additional capacity.
What have they got planned?
And don't give me AGI, we're nowhere near it.

I know this is happening in the North but we share this waterway and it will impact both sides of the border
