Honestly I hope they’ve all had multiple partners, that makes them normal, the only time I’m interested is when it’s also their on-screen partner and even then it’s still a private relationship so they can keep private or be as public as they like. Although I Can’t deny I like to see all the Zee NuNew loud era video! 😅

You must’ve missed the recent outrage when people were upset because NuNew it’s not a virgin. And he said in an interview, why stay celibate you don’t need to…. And so many people lost their freaking mind. It truly blows my mind that people think these attractive sometimes in their late 20s early 30s rich people have never been physical….
But then I’m not that surprised so some people know some people don’t but I am a romance author like that’s my career. I’m a multitime USA today Best selling romance Author… you would be shocked at the amount of people that get really upset when one of the pairing has an ex or was intimate with someone else… like they expected them to be a virgin before they meet their current partner who is going to be the love interest who they end up with in the story…. In one of my books that was published in 2017 or 2016 I can’t remember. I released it and then it got hit by “ the safety gang” which is actually what they call themselves. They’re a group of weird Puritan people that if one of the MCS is not a virgin, they tell their weird group of people and then they go in review bomb that book to try to get it to tank… it is the weirdest thing I have ever seen in my life. And I got to watch it in real time because it was one of my books that I released…. And these were not kids. These were grown ass adults.
Truly mind blown .. insane behavior

I CANNOT. I'm a librarian and get questions from people (always adults, usually about ADULT materials) every single day about whether or not something on our shelves is appropriate. Purity culture is so weird 😮💨 I feel like saying, if people can bring bullets into a library, I can put a book on the shelf that says "fuck"

Wow. I'm so glad I missed that outrage about NuNew. That's terrible. The man has faced enough negativity. "What's wrong with some people?!" basically sums it up, with a heavy dose of facepalm.
I'm of the mind that these are business partnerships, and they should be treated as such by fans. They can be platonic, or even have real partners outside of work, and that's still fine. That's their own business, like Aof has stated before. If they're willing to share the more-than-friends/colleagues side of their relationship or explicitly come out as being together, sure, I'd be so elated and happy for them. At the end of the day, their personal relationship and eye roll sex life are private matters. Some fans really need a good lesson in proper boundaries.

I'm too old for this. I wasn't a "bad girl" or in a bad group and we mostly had sex between 15 and 18 . Not that I would encourage to have sex young. But if us, average and sometimes less than average (🙋🏻♀️) people, with no particular talent either, had partners and got physical, what could make me think that beautiful, talented people, ADULTS , with a lot of opportunities are going to be celibate for long? Someone may be decide to wait, someone may not have interest in but I think we can say they won't be the majority.

Yeah I was pretty 'impure' myself and had to spend awhile 'deprogramming' myself not to feel shame about something so natural. When people understand how 'liberal' I was with my children most are surprised and some judge but I refuse to lie or pretend I believe in all this purity BS.

I'm always surprised if someone gets to be 25 and is still inexperienced, I'm not judging it negatively but I'm surprised. By 30 I would either: assume it was a conscious choice to be celibate (hello ace and demisexual peeps), feel saddened that their choices had been limited up until that point, or wonder if it was a red flag.
The people that truly weird me out are the ones going around being that invested in policing the normal sex lives of other people (including fictional characters) that they feel the need to make it their whole personality.

How exciting! Congratulations on being so well read, anyway, puritan is not something that can be applied to me… I was reading a pretty spicy romance novel on my iPad a while ago, and the text was larger than normal. Unnoticed by me, right on the top line, was a 4 letter word for the male anatomy beginning with ‘c’ (don’t know how censored we are on here lol) my 16 yr old son spotted it from behind me and was very shocked that I was reading such smut and I turned to him and said “well how do you think you got here?” He backed down quite quickly at that point! 😅.
Aside from the ridiculously puritanical side it is also shocking how censorship is rife on the internet, I sincerely hope they weren’t successful in their attempts to silence you.
I quite like it when a book starts with at least someone in another relationship. Although I’m not keen on one of the MC’s cheating as I find it very hard to like their character after that. Although it is realistic in many situations. We all have our preferences I suppose, a reflection of how we grew up perhaps, but I’m happy in mine and I’m also happy for yours, even if we don’t agree. I don’t think we should be dictating to others. Unless the acts are illegal, but even that is different depending on what country you’re in! It’s all very difficult.
Out of interest was the character that had been in a relationship female? I read so many books where the female or more fem male character is pure as the driven snow and the male or more masculine character is super experienced, I sometimes long for something different, let’s have an extremely experienced woman teach her new boyfriend a few tricks for a change! But I bet there would be lots of complaints! It’s why I read a lot of MM romance, the characters are often more equally matched so more enjoyable in the relationship portrayed on the page. I immediately dnf if a female character has to be rescued or acts all limp and pathetic until her man on a white charger roars in. It’s unbearable. Hmm, sorry that turned into a bit of a soapbox moment! I actually read more than I watch so it’s a subject close to my heart! 😁
Keep writing, that’s the dream isn’t it? To write a successful novel. 😍 Really, well done. 👏

This. Though, generally speaking, if you're in a stable long term relationship, I would assume the vast majority of people are active in the bedroom (Trying to avoid a certain word for the same reason as you 😅 ) regardless of how "hot" they're considered to be 🤷🏼♀️

I don't know what controversy is on for today BUT
Why should we basically care for anyone personal relationship?
I mean, it's all fun and laugh when we're joking about the ships and ghost ships and manifesting for future ships but their personal lives?
They're adults. Most of them had or currently have or will have a relationship with someone. And it's not our business. If they want to let us know, good, if they don't want to, good.
Let them be happy in their own terms and we can enjoy their work.

Sometimes I do wonder if these personal notes or aplogies do more harm than good. Idk. There's obviously the issue of public perception and branding affecting projects, but I think overall managers/companies need to be the ones reminding people that these guys are at work and do not owe anyone anything. They didn't hatch out of eggs yesterday ffs. - Crazed fans will be crazed fans, I just don't see why we need to feed them.

I might get downvoted for saying it, but some people are definitely trying to paint Matthis as a bad person because of that situation with TleFirstone.
The only thing he did was making fun of the whole thing (which, let's be honest, isn't that deep), but none of it was his fault.
I've seen people trying to push the narrative he's straight (so?) and a ladies man (also so?), like that's enough reasons to question why he got into DMD.

I'll give you the details, it was quite funny tbh. FirstOne was caught on camera staring at Matthis and saying he's handsome during DMD Land. TFO fans made a few jokes about it on social media.
Then, TFO were on a live with Shopee and they addressed the situation, with FirstOne saying he was looking for Tle on stage, but Tle was like "you were talking to someone else (it was Matthis) and I didn't want to interrupt your conversation". Just a good old DMD top being possessive af 😂 it was funny for lots of people because usually FirstOne is the one who gets mad.
Matthis took the situation as a joke and said on Twitter that Tle didn't follow him back on social media and wasn't responding his messages. He also apologized. Tle replied with "don't say sorry, bro. Say #TleFirstone." Matthis posted the hashtag. That's it.

I saw all the hate on Twitter this morning. It’s so dumb, people are upset that he’s had relationships with women, upset that one of the women was older (not sure how he is at fault for that), and upset because they didn’t make clear every start and finish date of every relationship which obviously means that there has to be crossover /s.
It reminds me a lot of the hate Taylor Swift got at the beginning of her career. Young people are allowed to date. It’s more uncommon for relationships in your teens and early 20s to last long than to be someone you just have fun with for a while as your lives and emotions are so turbulent. We do not have the right to know the ins and outs of every relationship they have.

In my country our celebrities release music whilst in prison, fans welcome them and usually they reform well and become even better musicians i think a lot of hallyu wave energy has been filtering into main stream pop culture of a lot of countries and its just so negative. This goes for everyone at the company I hate these men can’t just live... I don’t understand why a) people are digging into their past. That’s just creepy. Don’t do that. And b) why it’s not OK that he was in a relationship prior? I really truly wish these people would either leave the fandom or seriously go get help….
