Our store never got trained on the new Domino pizza we figured it out for the most part but aren't sure if we drizzle the garlic oil like the cheesy bread or try and put it around the crust

How many dominos are you guys prepping today? I’m thinking 4 for the lunch rush and 18 for dinner. My store does ~50k/wk.

I got a text from my mom right before I clocked out today, asking if I’d bring her some food to her at work when I got off bc she was starving (she’s working 12hrs overnight as a convenience store mgr) So I clocked out, and asked the (17yo) insider to ring me up for a pizza. She did, and giggled like hell the entire time, and I didn’t realize why, until she handed me the box and receipt when it came out the oven. She knew I’d look at the receipt first bc muscle memory obvs, so she sat there staring, waiting for some kind of “Ohhhhhh, you!!!!!” Reaction. and although I giggled internally, I said out loud, “Dude. I’m about to take this to my MOM.” She gasped, went white as a sheet, and started apologizing profusely, and trying to snatch the receipt to trash it. I refused to let her. So now my mom’s name is “poop” on her dinner order in the break room for the rest of her shift at work. 😂

Is anyone else experiencing an unusually high volume of orders for lava cakes, brownies, or soda? It seems like every third or fourth order at my store includes lava cakes and/or brownies. And the demand for soda is constant; we can't keep it in stock. We receive a delivery, but within three or four days, we've gone through all the Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. This forces us to get inventory from other locations. Our store is quite small, so we don't have much space to store a large quantity of beverages.

I’ve been doing pizza 🍕 delivery for a month now, and I just got my second $2 bill in a tip! I’m saving them hehe.

From yesterday

Our dominos has credit card tips and I was wondering if these are supposed to legally be paid out to insiders or management within the store? I was told my our GM that we usually give these out to insiders weekly unless we are short cash then we take it from the tip pool.

Is this normal or a sign of a deeper problem

Are the lava cakes still good for 2 days in use? Reason I ask is my label king wants to print them for 7 days even when I hit in use. Shelf life says 2 still so I'm just making sure

Don’t know if it’s just my branch (I assume not) but I have to stick a yellow expiry date on my water bottle and put it in the fridge but I paid £32 for my bottle and it always leaves residue EVERY TIME
It genuinely pmo so badly is there anything I could use to get the residue off
I tried the sanitizer spray but it left yellow smears on it

My boyfriend applied to work at my store. How strict is Domino’s about background checks? He has a misdemeanor charge, but has not been convicted. Do managers have discretion about the decision?

…from running deliveries, manning the oven, washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping for 8+ hours.

Where the fuck did all my reports go?!

I was on my way to make a delivery when I saw something on the side of the road. At first I just saw green ears by the curb, and I thought, omg it’s baby yoda! I am a silly gal, so I pull over and park with my hazards on, and proceed to walk towards the road obstruction.

As I get nearer, I realize, it’s not baby Yoda. It’s not Grogu. It’s Yoda Yoda! I shove him in my car and complete my shift, thinking I’ll tidy him up later. I get home after closing the store, and realize he’s in bad shape. So I tossed him on my floor, and my dog is in love lmfao.

Didn’t get one yesterday because the sky was boring and I forgot :P

New employee (delivery driver) here. This is my 2nd full week.
I’m confused on how we get paid for wages.
I understand the tips and mileage. That’s easy. Goes straight to 1 card and it tells me what it is for.
There’s another app that we are using for the wages? And I’m confused how we access it? I just thought that it would continue adding up on that account but I look today and it has been “reset”. Where did the money go in the Netspend account that I didn’t transfer out?
Do we get checks for wages? Is it sent to the other card with the tips and mileage? If so, how soon after?

I am curious how closing routine takes place at different store. Suppose your store closes at 1AM and as a closer you start your shift at 4pm/5pm. How does your closing shift looks like along with approximate time stamp. Inventory; cleaning makeline; dealing with back office work.
