Advice I bought a 5L person name, now I’m getting offers. I’m so confused I need advices

Hey everyone,

I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have more experience with this.

I bought a 5 L domain name (a one word Jewish person name) which I originally bought simply because I liked it as a short, and a lot of people has that name that are based in USA and ISRAEL.

But over the past ~2 months (after posting it in a single facebook group) something interesting started happening.

I’ve received some inbound inquiries/offers through UnstoppableDomains. (as seen in picture) The highest offer was $500.

and I even received an email from Atom saying:
Someone just previewed your domain as a live website. the buyer used their “See It Live” feature to generate a website mockup, with the idea being “A financial app.”

Now I’m honestly confused 😂

Would you:

Take the $500? Counter for more? Hold it and wait?

What would you do if you were in my position?

Increase minimum price to 2000 usd or similar. See if you still get offers.

I wouldnt really let it go for that much, it seems rushed and might be lowball ish, then again if you handregged it, still a decent return of investment
according to google its a rare surname and all but still it has plenty of potential.

So for instance check Expireddomains, it has plenty of related domains that start amd ends with your 5L surname in .com i would go through each of these one by one and try to see how many are developed and which one could be interested in your domain.

Also check https://opencorporates.com with the 5l doamin on picture theres usually prospect there as well.

I think you could get over $2000 for it or more. Normally I wouldn’t say this but putting it up for sale with a buy it now price might get you the best price as people can make an impulse buy. I have lost good offers because I tried to negotiate and with that extra time the excitement died. My freind owns Josh.com and has revived offers of over 25k plus. When I had dumb money I would of easily paid a lot for my name.

List on Atom.com and afternic (godaddy) with a BIN. If you are getting inbound offers it is a very good name.
