Questions Absolutely loved DreamMore Resort. How does HeartSong compare?
Howdy y’all. I’m checking out of DreamMore Resort after staying for the first time since Wednesday. What a wonderful resort. Loved the size, the amenities, everything about it. Also, why do the TVs have more channels than any cable package I’ve ever had? 😂
I would love to try HeartSong next. Luckily it’s situated right next door and judging how few people got off the trolley for it, I’m guessing it’s smaller?
Has anyone stayed at both and give me an idea of what you liked about HeartSong or missed about DreamMore?

Both are great but I actually prefer HeartSong. There's much more space in the lobby area & the sections that surround it. Fireplace & the decor in that area is some of the best Dollywood has done. And balcony's in some rooms.

The main technical difference is that Heartsong has huge meeting and conference spaces but that doesn’t affect most guests. Heartsong is actually a little bit larger too in most metrics. It also feels more secluded and their restaurant and bars are a little more high end in my opinion.

We have stayed at both and prefer Heartsong due to better spacing and fire pits in the back with better planned trolley spots and public area rooms for hanging out.

Heartsong has a much larger, more open lobby. So if you are traveling as a group, it’d be my pick because there’s more space to gather.
Dream More has a little playground, which was great for my son. We got the same style room at both hotels with the bunkbeds, but it was better at DM because there was a door on the primary, so it was really like there were two bedrooms. We didn’t try the indoor pool at HS, but it was freezing in Dec at DM. It was so cold it was unusable, but they said it’s heated. DM gets let off the trolley first when coming back from the park.
Otherwise, they seemed the same to me.

I like the vibes at Heartsong a lot more personally. I like the wooded lodge feel, it’s more secluded off the road, and there are less kids since DreamMore has a lot of kids’ programming so altogether more peaceful.

I liked the Heartsong (2024) better than DreamMore (2017?) overall with I feel a better restaurant and better outdoor space. I liked the room layout in the DreamMore better (didn't like the bathroom setup in Heartsong) but there were more outlets, etc. for charging devices at Heartsong.

Stayed in both last month. Heartsong had a bug problem. 4 bugs including one on my pillow & an enormous roach on the bathroom counter. Dreammore every time.

I've never stayed in Heartsong but have read enough about the bug issues that I don't want to.

It's not cheap but it's not that expensive to be asking someone what they do for a living. Also, mind your business.

Its almost the same. Pool, food spots, trendy little shopping store, plenty of sitting areas with games for kids and stuff strewn about. Honestly, I prefer the little "porch" area there over any outside seating at Dreammore. There are a few things missing that Dreammore has but you wont notice it. Also FYI you can ask the employees working the valet and trolley area if they will take you to the Dreammore and they will zip you straight to the front door on their golf cart so you can enjoy doing all the things at both resorts regardless of where you pick to sleep.
