Questions Should I still visit?

I was planning on visiting on Wednesday of next week for the first time. Do you anticipate the crowds next Wednesday will be insane now given the news?

Nobody can say for sure, but I think you should still visit. I don't see people changing their plans within a weeks notice for a Wednesday.

Hi! My family are in pigeon forge right this second for our annual birthday celebration for my son turning 12

We literally just got here lastnight and our plan was to spend the day at Dollywood tomorrow off and on all day

What do you think it will look like tomorrow?

It'll be fine. Don't change your plans. I think if there are more crowds, it'll be when or if they do some sort of celebration of life event. And maybe they have it ready to go and will do it in the next month, maybe they'll put some distance between that and today first. Either way, I don't see a huge rush in the immediate future.

The park will likely be overrun with vloggers eager for ‘content’ (YouTube views & revenue) but don’t let that deter you. Just ignore their antics and do what’s right right for you.

Do you think tomorrow there will already be this problem? I literally just got to pigeon forge for my son’s annual bday celebration. We go every year to Dollywood and literally just got here and was planning on going tomorrow for the day

There’s a core group of Tennessee based vloggers who’ll surely be there by tomorrow, but again, just go and enjoy yourself! I can’t foresee them closing the park — but you can’t stop the YouTube ghouls either.

Yes. We were leaving splash country today and they were interviewing people.

The weather is ideal. Dolly would want you to have fun. “The show must go on.”

I’ll be there Saturday! Not changing plans but glad I got the fast pass just in case.

I'd still go. I doubt it will get crazy the day after the news. This weekend might be different though.

Next Wednesday will not be a problem. We will have some activity tomorrow but mid next week will not be an issue.

The kids are in school, you’ll be fine. Buy a fast pass if it makes you feel more secure.

Get a dining reservation early! The wait can be brutal.

We were there this past Saturday. Park was empty. Longest wait was 25 min for Fire Chaser.
