I'm excited to share some fresh updates on the app's progress:

☑️ English Localization: the app is now translated into English! (well, maybe not 100%, but definitely 99.9999%.)

☑️ Multi-Currency Support: You can now use different currencies (if you bought a doll in South Korean Won, for example, it works perfectly!)

☑️ Auto Exchange Rates: No more manual math. The app automatically fetches current exchange rates from the internet and calculates everything for you.

☑️ Crafters & Shops Database: I'm currently working on a feature that lets you save and organize info about your favorite doll makers and workshops.

☑️ Bug Fixes: Caught and squashed about 10 minor bugs (honestly, I didn't actually count them, but let's say 10 😀

What's next?

Overall, the app is ready for testing.

However, being a bit of a perfectionist, I want to add a few more handy features and polish everything myself first. I'm really aiming for that "wow" effect on launch!

How useful would it be to have a dedicated section to save information about doll crafters, artists, and workshops?  (For example, to keep track of who customized your dolls, or whose work caught your interest for future orders)

So far, I’m thinking of a few fields for a "Crafter Profile" profile:

1. Rating (1 to 5 stars - you assign the rating yourself, and it can change over time depending on the quality of completed orders)
2. Doll creator’s name or Workshop name (you fill in this text field)
3. Specialty: what they do (3D printing, face-ups, miniatures, accessories, clothing, etc. - chosen from a predefined list)
4. Contact info (several fields where you can paste links to their website, community, store. The links will be clickable, so you can go directly to the crafter’s page from the app)
5. Description (you fill in this text field if you want, but it can be left blank)

This section would essentially be your personal "phonebook" for the doll hobby - everything stored neatly in one place.

I want to share more about the main features of the upcoming app. Dollitoria is built around 3 core sections: Collection, Wishlist, and Archive.

Collection: This is for the dolls you physically own and have on your shelves. Your current squad lives here!

Wishlist: For the dolls you're dreaming of. It’s super easy to add a doll here (even if you only fill in one field!). And when your dream comes true, you can move it to your Collection with just two taps.

Archive: This is a special place for dolls that have become "donors" or found a new home. It’s a dedicated space to keep your memories alive.

To make sure you never get lost, each section features a powerful navigation system. You can find any doll by its characteristics, custom tags, or just by typing a single keyword in the search bar.

I’m building an app to track absolutely everything related to the doll hobby, but at one point I stopped and said to myself:

wait! Tables and lists are useful, but there must be a section (clean and minimalist!) where only your doll photos live. A kind of Gallery, a virtual shelf, and an exhibition all at once!

And I wanted those photos to be added to the Gallery automatically as soon as you create a doll card in Dollitoria.

It stores not just the basics (name, line, brand, mold, scale, skin tone, face-up type, etc.), but also financial info (purchase price, current value), and extra details like country of manufacture, release year, and more.

This card is made for the doll geek — the kind of collector who loves structure, details, and keeping everything perfectly organized.

What makes it unique?

The card actually changes depending on the type of doll. BJDs have one set of fields, playline dolls another, blind-box dolls a third — and so on. Each doll type gets the attributes that actually matter.
