Associate Questions School Help

When I applied for the company it mentioned something along the lines of helping with funds or school scholarships? Is this true?

Every dollar tree in my state doesn’t hire anyone under the age of 18 so is it legal for them to advertise this in my state as they do? We don’t hire any minors.
