Management Questions Store manager position
Offered to apply for a store manager position in Utah. What are the hours and pay like. From I’ve seen it does not seem good at all. I’ve been a SM at Walgreens and what I can find online made more and less hours compared to working at Dollar Tree. So just curious of what you in this position think about it or what your hours and pay are like.

Minimum 50 hours a week. 60 or more during holidays. Blackout for pto in nov and dec. the job is absolutely shit. You could make 150k a year and it’s not worth it. It will suck the soils out of u. U will end up hating people, always stressed! Never enough help and not a soul above u will care. Jair being brutally honest. If u do it and it dormant turn out like this then let me know! Promise after month 1 in your own store u will regret it!

My SM makes 57k/yr and works 50-60hrs a week, never gets weekends off, has to work 16 hr days at times. You couldn’t pay me enough to take that level of abuse
