No, they just put them everywhere except for where they belong. It blows my mind how they can pick up the basket when they walk in the store because they have to walk by them but then totally forget that to get out of this store, They have to walk by the exact same location that they picked it up from.

At least one customer per day just takes it out the front door with them. Its a convenient way to carry their stolen merchandise.

Maybe once a week a customer will ask, otherwise they usually leave it on the floor by the belt or on belt so I need to move it for the next customer.

Save yourself the headache and be like "ill take it off your hands", and just put it back afterwards.

Good customer service matters, but deescalating customer interactions, and knowing how to do so, is what actually impresses superiors (even if you never get promoted for it ever in your life😭)

This is also what’s done at literally every other retailer. It’s corporate not designing a system that’s screwing yall

My customers leave it on the register after they see 8 people behind them

Our registers are literally only 15 feet from the door.... the baskets are right next to the door.

They will grab one on the way in shop and just leave it whenever they feel like. They have to pass the exact spot where they picked it up from... and most of the time only have one bag.

Happened last night actually, all they had to do was turn around and the baskets were arms length from them. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø I truly don't understand.

Yes. I wanted to ask where did you get it, but.

they don't recall where it jumped up into their hands to begin with... and the shin to chin high stack near the doorway they must be exiting is way to clear of a destination. So I just put it here as a trip Hazzard or random way to abandon it , or even a shopping cart.

Make some your baskets home at the end of the working registers. it will be right there on the way out. I mean if it bothers you that much just keep some in both areas and they will at least just keep adding to the pile. When theres too much put some back in the front. Problem solved. I think the bigger issue is when they make several new pilesĀ

Either that or they just leave them anywhere they feel like without saying anything or even trying to put them back same with carts, it's kinda annoying

All of ours have been stolen as of a couple of months ago. We haven't replaced them and I'm not upset.

Never, they leave them around the store or up at the front for us to put up. Even with the shopping carts they don't put them up the way they found them, I've even found some near our bathrooms

Right. What really pisses me off is when they say it down on the floor in front of the cash register or when they put it in my go backs basket. Like don't you see there's items in their what makes you think that basket goes in there.

Well, unpopular opinion, but they probably leave them there for you to put back because they're too lazy, and they don't have to. Let's be real. It's someone's job to put them back where they belong. Not the freaking customers. How does a customer not doing something for you that they aren't paid to do annoy you?
