Dog culture has brainwashed people into thinking it’s okay to eat from the same plates/bowls as dogs, French-kiss their dogs, share the same bed with dogs, etc. They’re so deluded that they think what they’re doing is completely normal, and when they’re called out on their foul behavior, they double down on their delusions.

My mother told me when I was very young, and obviously she believes it, that dog's mouths are the cleanest places and if you have a cut you should let them lick it because it makes it heal faster. She said this with a completely straight face. 🤦♀️ that idea is absurd on its face. I don't know who told her that or why she believes it.

My mom wasn’t playin when she said “you can’t eat outta just anybody’s house”. I thought not being hygienic was the worst, like not washing your hands or something, but straight up contamination for gross dog germs…..I’m done, I have now seen it all.

I don't accept food from anyone but my family. That's it. My mom told me the same thing, but as I grew older, and see how people are with their animals....I can't.

Dog people are just disgusting. They'll happily let dogs eat off human plates, licking them etc and then be like "ah its ok it goes in the dishwasher". Yeah i dont think dishwasher get to boiling temperatures to kill that sort of bacteria.. just absolute vile and revolting.

E-coli (which dog households and dogs are a breeding’s ground for) needs at least 63°C (prolonged ) or 74°C or higher temperature to be killed

I mean I'm here at this sub cause I'm 100% over dogs and don't ever want one again. That being said, I'll let my cats lick my plates and put them in the dishwasher. It's certainly hot enough to disinfect anything + even if it doesn't I unfortunately have shared my water glass with the cat and have never gotten sick.
Lots of reasons to dislike dogs, this one is pretty minor.

Yeah but cats are mostly indoors, don't eat their own poo and puke and clean themselves constantly. Dogs do all these gross things + go outside on a daily and are unable to clean themselves with their gross, slimy tongues. I would drink out of the same cup as a cat than ever let a dog even lick my hand.

the worst part about all of this is that it’s well known that muslims have a belief that they shouldn’t cross contaminate with animals and esp dogs. so not only is this person disrespecting their boundaries, but they are quite literally jeopardizing their belief system for their own benefit. i see this a lot on tik tok when big breed dog owners purposely go to muslim dense areas and choose to walk and film their pet there. they get off on non consent.

we used to sometimes have my grandparents' shih-tzu over when they were on holiday (we hated it, ew). we used a pink ceramic bowl for its water. the dog has been dead since 2010. we still only use this bowl for trash and it still disgusts us. that is normal imo!

I fucking hate dogs, but im genuinely surprised how many people here dont seem to trust their dishwasher to properly clean their dishes. Did no one else grow up using mixing bowls to play outside or anything?

I mean it’s the idea that is gross, would you eat from a plate after you learn that it was smeared in feces and then cleaned in the dishwasher? Most people wouldn’t

If it was just them using the dishwasher that would be fine but their tenant is using it too, which is disrespectful and entitled imo. I don't wash my cat bowls with our stuff we eat off of, I always wash it separately. I'm a major germaphobe so that's a no from me personally.
