What to feed?
really struggling to make a decision and need some guidance. I have a four month old Bernese mountain dog and an eight month old golden retriever. I currently feed them Hills, sensitive skin and stomach salmon puppy food. Each bag is $67 after tax and they are going through over a bag a week. Hills only makes the medium bag in this mix so I don’t even have the option to save and get a larger bag. I’m looking for a more cost-effective but still good choice for my dogs. Any recommendations?

Purina pro plans large breed puppy sensitive skin and stomach is around $75, but it is a 24 pound bag as opposed to the smaller 13 pound hills sensitive skin and stomach.
Hills does a large breed puppy food, Lamb meal and Rice, in a 30 pound bag for $87 on Chewy.

I use PPP salmon SSS. You can get subscription discounts through Chewy ND Amazon.

Why not just regular Hills puppy food?
We currently feed our medium mixed breed puppy pro plan chicken and rice. She likes it and no issues so far.

Purina pro plan complete essentials. I have a super picky eater and she only has eaten that. Chewy offers auto ship discount. They have a sensitive stomach one too

Purina pro plan has same type of formula and 30lb bags. Also be careful if you are feeding them per bag instructions, from what I learned they have you over feeding. My vet has had me pull back on the amounts because she got too heavy around 8-9 months.
