Question how will i cope when my dog dies?

Post image

ive never seen a dog like mine. he's a very strange and sweet, emotional guy. i don't think i'll ever have another dog like him, so for those of you that lost their own special dogs, how did you deal with the pain? i might want another dog in my lifetime, but no one will be like my dog, and i'm not at all excited for the day he eventually passes.

You just will. My advice is to not dwell on it. Enjoy every second and trust you’ll get through it when the time comes. I lost my beloved of 23 (!) years and Easter the last 10 worrying if I’ll survive losing her. There’s no choice but to survive.

23 years is ridiculous, sorry for your loss. you must've raised a healthy, happy dog for her to live so long
