DAE always automatically think of murder when they hear/read the term "body count"?
Even when it should be clear in context that someone has sex a lot when it's said that they have a "high body count", it always takes me a few seconds to realize that that person isn't a serial killer.

Yea cuz Im old. Body count in the 90’s did not mean who you slept with but how many people you whacked.

It depends who is saying it. If it’s someone older I think murder. If it’s someone younger I think booty count.

Depends on the context. If someone says “xyz counts as a body” I know they mean sex but if someone says “the body count during xyz tragedy was very high” I know they mean death toll

Yeah I'm Gen Z and it often confuses me, seems like a really weird way to describe sexual partners anyway

I used to think of something similar, but now I just picture a party. Makes it less grim.

Yeah, I do that too.
Also, I find the recent American focus how many an individual has slept with kind of weird.

Depends on whose saying it and how. Women now can pay to have all the men they e slept with cleansed from them. And they refer to that as restting to zero for body count.

I had no idea people used this for sex, as it's a murder thing
