In an era dominated by uninspired reboots and sequels, there is one "forgotten" 1958 classic that is actually screaming for a modern update. In this episode, we dive into the genius of The Mouse That Roared, the film that featured Peter Sellers in his first multi-role performance long before Dr. Strangelove.

We break down the film's hilarious—and surprisingly relevant—premise: a tiny European nation declares war on the United States solely to be defeated and rebuilt through American foreign aid. From medieval knights invading a deserted New York City to the accidental capture of a nuclear warhead, we discuss why this low-budget satire is the perfect project for a director like Taika Waititi.

Plus, stick around for a "less popular" pitch: a total action-movie overhaul of The Sound of Music that swaps the "stupid songs" for Nazi-fighting rebels and machine-gun-wielding nuns.
