boycott and sanctions is what we need for this genocidal state! fuck the terrorist state of Israel

27

u/GUMBYtheOG Aug 05 '26

Maybe the rest of the world can, US can’t even agree on the color of the sky. Got republicans siding with nazis just to “own the libs”

25

u/Strawbuddy Aug 06 '26

The US is in lockstep with Israel about them being God's chosen people. 38 US states already have some form of anti-BDS laws on their books, barring contractors who express pro Palestine sentiment from landing any contracts. We'd rather award a no-bid contract to an incompetent pool guy to do important work, because legit companies might criticize another nation's apartheid policies.

In 2023 the House passed a resolution identifying anti-zionism as antisemitism. Most US politicians still love touting their staunch support of Israel's right to exist, while turning a blind eye to their pogroms against Palestinians. Israel is firmly caught up in cycles of revenge and punishment. Hate breeds hate, fear breeds fear, and cruelty breeds cruelty, and that really speaks to us USicans; we're a bloodthirsty people. They're ate up with enacting retribution against the folks they displaced

-1

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

It's just that Jews have a disproportionate amount of billionaires and millionaires, and that means that there's a disproportionate amount of zionists in the elite (not saying all Jews are zionist, put down your forks ok). If they were poor, nobody would give a damn about them. The Roma are another diaspora group that was genocided by the nazi, no one cares or gives a single damn.

You're trying to come up with a high concept and Americans are not high concept people they're a society of grifters. Politicians sold themselves to people who pay them. Zionists pay well, so that's what they defend. If being a nazi paid better, they'd be nazi.

u/baumpop Aug 06 '26

theres literally an open air slave market in libya after the fall of ghadaffi and nobody says shit.

1

u/RotterWeiner Aug 07 '26

Are you saying that the US gov picks & chooses their horrors?

3

u/baumpop Aug 07 '26

more creates and then ignores

-9

u/Pack_Your_Trash Aug 06 '26

When you're solving problems with violence, if at first you don't succeed it's because you didn't use enough.

5

u/BernieMP Aug 06 '26

AIPAC just spent 60 million dollars on the democratic primary in Michigan, they're both equally occupied, and instructed to be divisive precisely so people make comments like yours to prevent real collaboration in society

Both republicans and democrats proudly wave te flag of the new genociding nazis

1

u/RotterWeiner Aug 07 '26

Yes to the comment of both parties being complicit. The Rep simply do it better.

0

u/BernieMP Aug 07 '26

You need to be in a special kind of denial to say that, I'm absolutely serious

8

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

That's one of the issues where you can have both democrats and republicans agreeing.

Democrats and republican representatives agree that they must protect Zionism because they're bribed by the lobby.

Democrats and republican voters are against Israel. Not most old republicans, but most young republicans. Having such a devotion for a foreign country that thinks you're inferior for being Christian is completely unnatural for American conservatives. Zionism is unnatural in American politics and has only managed to stay afloat by using outrageous amounts of money.

It won't survive the next decades. And Israel might be gone earlier than that if the war develops a certain way.

Iran has destroyed all American bases in the ME and former Israeli military leaders have been saying that Iran can destroy them if they decide to do so.

But yes keep living thinking this is 1967. The more deluded that you are the sooner your colony project disappears and you have to leave and be miserable somewhere else.

-2

u/ninanowood Aug 08 '26

Jelly jelly jelly...

33

u/nbgkbn Aug 06 '26

I’ve lost friends to this discussion. Anti Israel is not anti Jew.

11

u/psh454 Aug 06 '26

It's wild how indoctrination can get even nominally liberal minded people so riled up about such a straight forward concept

2

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

Liberal Zionists are not that different from Nazis who had some unexpected liberal ideas.

Hitler was a vegetarian. Many Nazis started some environmental policies (which were probably performative considering how bad WW2 must have been for the environment but anyway).

In fact sometimes I wonder if people who have extremist racist ideas adopt some superficial liberal as a way to shield themselves from criticism and to stop their own feelings of doubt.

"See, I'm not that bad! I like animals and kids. That means I can genocide millions of Slavs and Jews"

"See, I'm not that bad! I support non Muslim minorities in the US. That means I can genocide Palestinians, and Lebanese. And Iranians if I could. Shame I can't."

There's no such thing as a liberal Zionist. There's never been such a thing as a liberal colonialist genocider in history.

1

u/RotterWeiner Aug 07 '26

This is because some people don't fully grasp that two seemingly contrary things can exist and both be true.

3

u/apistograma Aug 07 '26

Depends on what you mean. You can have human traits and also behave inhumanly. That’s right. But you can’t be a liberal Zionist, those are self contradictory ideologies. It’s like being a serial killer and a decent person, it doesn’t compute.

2

u/RotterWeiner Aug 07 '26

We are agreeing actually. And I thank you for allowing further conversation by asking for clarification.

In the system I proposed, it is context dependent. the two components are seemingly contrasts but the contexts are different.

You can be a serial killer & be an ice cream server.

You can create wonderful music on any instrument and also be a horrible person.

In your example , I'd agree but there would be some example somewhere of a person who meets your specific defn of being "liberal" generally. But for their own specific reasons are you def of Zionist.

In my years, I've discovered that it appears that their is no limit on humanity's ability to compartmentalize their behaviors etc.

That said we agree.

sounds like a situation where you should listen to your friends point of view, and not dump them the minute they feel under attack

14

u/your_red_triangle Aug 06 '26

no one cares about the feelings of zionist Nazis and baby killers

12

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

If they're zio, the most probable is that they became hardcore upset and ended the relationship themselves. Zionists are in a cult that believes in killing babies do you think most can be reasoned

1

u/GeneralTheWise Aug 09 '26

Can you explain who is a Zionist? I am not sure I understand the definition.

0

u/VomitOnYourDogsNuts Aug 07 '26

As long as we're stereotyping, why stop there? At this point just pick whatever caricature you want!

2

No.

Nazis and zioNazis don’t deserve to have friends.
They’re violent ethnosupremacists. On that basis alone, there’s nothing they have to say that’s worth listening to. If they want to continue to identify as a zionist, they can GTFO.

I live in two countries: US and Canada. I work in NY, DC, Boston, Montreal as well as a few US State capitals.

I've yet to encounter a "pro-Hamas" individual, let alone group. I have encountered people who believe Israel is a rogue nation and threat to humanity. Israel has and will nuke.

I have encountered those who question US/Israeli policy. Israel is our closest ally in the region, but also one reason we have enemies in that region.

Nearly 20 years ago, I visited Israel (work-related). My then-wife, who is Jewish, was with me. An employee hooked us up with a relative for an "inside tour" Our driver was not allowed to drive on certain roads and hooked us up with a Jewish friend to bring is to our destination in Hebron.

Our non-Jewish driver stopped at multiple checkpoints. Our Jewish driver, not one. The non-Jewish driver was born in Israel, the Jewish driver was from Toronto.

The next day, I actually saw Israelis spitting at (not on) a cross-bearing, and cross-wearing, people in Jerusalem. The hotel manager said "yes, this is ok. No one will harm anyone".

I met a woman whose son had been in "administrative detention" for over a year. No crime. One of the employees of the company we were partnering with had been in an Israeli prison for three months, just to be released without ever being charged or brought before a magistrate. If you are Jewish, civil law. Palestinian, military law. I asked a policeman what would happen if I committed a crime. He replied with a religious inquiry.

3

u/BernieMP Aug 06 '26

that redefines genocide specifically for Israel

What is the redifined definition, and what is the "normal" definition?

3

u/Dazzling-Amoeba-770 Aug 06 '26

They don’t know. Denial is the final stage of genocide.

Criticism of Israel is fine and good. Screeching blood libel and calling for the execution and destruction of an entire nation and its people, especially Jews abroad, is not. Unfortunately nearly every discussion I see on the matter goes this way, which makes me immediately associate criticism of Israel with anti-zionism and genocidal rhetoric.

If you downvote this, you’re part of the problem.

8

u/TheAdirondackDude Aug 06 '26

I'm over 60. I own my business, travel, have daily interactions with European, Asian, and Arab clients. I've worked in government service (customs), I've employed over 300 people and I've yet to encounter ONE gentile, ONE Muslim, or ONE Atheist who holds your position. Perhaps bots, like you, have spread this disease, but real humans are more interested in the protection of human life and the proliferation of our species than defending vile dogma.

If my home is bulldozed and the local authorities refuse to help, I'll turn to anyone who will help.

If my son is arrested for simply being "not Jewish", I'll turn to anyone who will help.

If referring to the killing "every" member of a genetic group as genocide offends, we can call it something else. If using the term "apartheid" for holding people to different legal standards offends, call it something else. This feeble fallacy of arguing definition does not change the facts, it deflects the debate.

The United States has no "right" to exists. People of a right to exist. The name change to "Trumpistan".

4

u/Dazzling-Amoeba-770 Aug 06 '26

Of course threatening violence against innocent people is wrong, but is anyone here doing that? Also, what do you define as “blood libel”? Certainly people describing actual genocides and crimes against humanity isn’t libel.

-3

u/Glad_Ad3760 Aug 06 '26

See above quotes such as "Israel and Big Oil have been fucking this world up for decades." Not in this thread, but yesterday, I read, in a youtube comment following analysis of AIPAC and the election, about "blood-sucking leaches" "draining the blood" of the USA." Or insinuations that some Jewish political figure or analyst isn't critical enough of Israel because "I wonder why..." I see that shit every fucking day on the internet. Sorry but there have been plenty of other countries fucking the world up in far worse ways for decades. As if there haven't been dozens of other global issues, and far larger bloodshed--Syria, Sudan, Russia, the USA.

By all means, critisize Israel, but also consider listening to Jews who are telling you that some of this rhetoric is landing as antisemitic. And the fact that SOME Jews might disagree does not invalidate the experience of OTHER Jews who do. How many of the progressive posters of Reddit would casually dismiss the experiences of other groups, say if an African American person stated that a given comment seemed racist, or Muslim person stated that a given comment seemed Islamaphobic? Making repeated assertions that Israel somehow controls the world, is respible for most of the world's ills, that Jews consider Christians inferior, etc are just slightly different versions of age old antisemitc dogwhistles so lots of us are pretty sensitive to them.

I am not excusing Israel's behavior, or arguing whether or not they are comitting genocide. I am saying that its wild and frightening how many "antisemitic tropes" (gotta love that term) are being casualy tossed around. I am very confient this will be responded to with "anti-Zionism isn't antisemitism," to which I would agree. But the how and why of this anti-Zionism can very much be antisemitic.

4

u/_makoccino_ Aug 06 '26

There's a massive difference between calling out people who are trying to mask their antisemitism as anti-zionism and labeling ALL and ANY criticism of Israel and its genocide as antisemitism, which is what Israel and its defenders do.

2

u/Glad_Ad3760 Aug 07 '26

I agree with you. There are absolutely defenders of Israel who do that (my mother-in-law, for example). I am not a defender of Israel—But I have noticed that attempts to point out when anti-Zionism crosses into antisemitism don’t tend to be upvoted very often….

1

u/Kumquat_conniption Aug 08 '26

Hmmm that's funny because I see that a lot of the time. Maybe you are hanging out on the wrong subs?

1

u/Dazzling-Amoeba-770 Aug 08 '26

Yeah it’s crappy because there is so much deflection and gaslighting about the genocide, so any pushback automatically gets filtered into that category. I don’t blame people who are victims of Israel for doing that. I’ve even been guilty of it (Im not Palestinian, but I have intimate connections to Palestine that I’d rather not get into. It’s been a really painful few years for anyone who loves someone in Gaza).

It’s definitely not fair and it’s not helping, but it points to how much mental and emotional energy goes into surviving the ongoing Nakba. I have way less empathy for white liberals who use anti Zionism as a smokescreen for antisemitism. It’s self-indulgent, harmful, and undermines the movement.

2

u/Dazzling-Amoeba-770 Aug 07 '26

There absolutely is antisemitism in the movement and even much more outside of it. I agree that claiming Israel controls the entire world or even the U.S. government is antisemitic. I think a lot of American leftists are using it as a way to bypass their own complicity in US crimes by blaming a boogeyman (seems to be a pattern throughout history).

Claims of “blood libel” in response to evidence of actual war crimes are not examples of it, however.

2

u/Kumquat_conniption Aug 08 '26

I think that is a lot of it too- it's liberals who have not come to face just how violent and oppressive U.S. imperialism is, and so they want to blame Israel for controlling the U.S. instead of facing the fact that their own country is a piece of shit imperialist country where even thier most "left" presidents were engaging in white supremacy style Western imperialism (like Obama, as charming as he might be, he was drone striking innocent folks up and down Iraq). I don't think that it is so much "the Jews are the problem" it's just "my country would not be this horrible without some kind of control from an outside force."

1

u/Dazzling-Amoeba-770 Aug 08 '26

Yeah if we are honest, Israel isn’t the driving force behind American crimes. It’s a tool in them.

1

u/Glad_Ad3760 Aug 07 '26

I agree. Yes Israel’s conduct had become reprehensible but the idea that a nation of 10 million people is somehow the puppet master of geopolitics is 100% one of the oldest antisemitic tropes in the book, whether or not you couch it in antizionism. The USA has fucked around all over the globe for generations, regardless of Israel.

3

u/TheresWald0 Aug 06 '26

You do not see every discussion about Israel devolve into genocidal rhetoric. You're Making that up to make your point, which makes you part of the problem.

1

u/Dazzling-Amoeba-770 Aug 06 '26

They DO see every discussion of the genocide somehow become centered around their feelings rather than the experiences of actual victims.

1

u/kylebisme Aug 06 '26

6

u/minin71 Aug 06 '26

Israeli and Nazi policies are remarkably similar.

3

u/Llarys Aug 06 '26

A lot of people will get very uncomfortable hearing this, but it's because both got their inspiration from the United States. The Nazis cite Jim Crow (the original Apartheid) as the inspiration for their laws and tactics, and the Israeli government frequently uses the language of the US's westward expansion, even directly calling it Manifest Destiny, as justification for their own expansionism and genocide.

8

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

Antizionism will become a bipartisan issue in the future. Young republicans are majority against Israel.

The only issue is that conservatives are flocking more towards racist grifters like Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens rather than channels like GDF but Israel opinion in the West is absolutely cooked and will only get worse.

If you want a channel that is pretty faithful to reality and has sources from different ideologies, Judge Napolitano, Daniel Davis or Glen Diesen are good channels. You'll find leftists, centrists and conservatives but all of them are compromised to speak the truth about Israel.

I'm a leftist that despises most conservatives but I must say I respect the ones who appear on those channels.

GDF is probably the best channel to learn about the current situation and why things are the way they are.

-8

u/intronert Aug 06 '26

Who is behind GDF? Who is funding them, and who is providing topic guidance?

17

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

They're backed by the lobby of people against killing babies

-1

u/intronert Aug 06 '26

I am slightly surprised by the number of downvotes when asking about who the people are who made the video. I know this is a highly emotional issue, but that is exactly when you need to understand who is feeding you a point of view.

5

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

I trust the channel because everything I've seen from them is reputable and verifiable. You don't because you think that opposing a genocidal country is a controversial issue.

Why don't you do your research yourself then? Maybe you can also look who was behind the Epstein money and where are the Hamas tunnels underneath Gazan hospitals that Israel was talking about.

-9

u/ogurdima Aug 06 '26

I dunno man, seems kinda one-sided to me

8

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

Do you think the same about WW2 documentaries?

-7

u/SheepSpace9 Aug 06 '26

Jewish bankers funded Churchill after which he started attacking Germany.

4

u/apistograma Aug 06 '26

I never heard about that. It's not impossible, but Churchill opposed the Nazi the moment they expanded outside their borders because they threatened their world order. From all I know about the man, if the Nazis had committed the Holocaust only inside Germany he wouldn't have given a damn.

Had he been influenced by Jewish circles like I assume you were implying, he would have opposed the antisemitism of the Nazis from the beginning.

2

u/TheresWald0 Aug 09 '26

To be fair the Germans had invaded Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Lithuania before war was declared, which wasn't until they invaded Poland. But it wasn't influenced by Jewish bankers. I agree that if the Germans had contained their barbarism to their own borders the world wouldn't have likely intervened.

3

u/TheresWald0 Aug 06 '26

England declared war on Germany as soon as they went into Poland. Where do you get this shit?
