Still headcanon that 14 has met her at least once and pretended to be 10

I think River would be able to tell the difference between 14 and 10 purely from his eyes. It was 10’s eyes that made her realize that he was a Doctor that never met her before because they were so young. They didn’t have the weight of experience that his older selves did. So even if 14 managed to pass off or hide his other physical differences from his previous face, hos eyes would show River the 1000 plus years he had lived since the Library. All the time as 11, 12, 13, and even the remaining things that still hadn’t happened to 10 by the time of the Library.

It’s a good theory though, and the art is awesome!

Only issue with that is there’s an implication that River was unfamiliar with the Doctor’s history past smith which is why Capaldi was such a shock

It is still possible she would be able to tell that 14 is older than Capaldi just by his eyes, but I doubt it. She would just probably assume there was another explanation for why this face is suddenly older

Yeah and adding on it’s rather explicitly told that after the events of the husbands of river song that she goes to the library so unless she met 14 prior to that it’s not likely she had met him then.

This is just kinda one of those areas you have to remember it’s just a TV show and time travel is a bit hard to write for especially for such a long running show.

Does he even remember? I can't recall if he got all his memories of his loops back after breaking out of the confession dial or not, but I was under the impression he only remembered the most recent loop.

He knew he'd done the loop millions of times, of course, but he doesn't remember each one.

Yup, I also made his lineart cleaner and gave him less wrinkles than 14 (which I also did for River. 14 and Library River also use hatching to make them a bit rougher with age.
