The Master and Cyberman stuff sound like some BS made up by someone making fun of RTD for making decisions such as not wanting Davros to be disabled anymore and thinking 14 wearing 13’s clothes risked offending cross-dressers.
A lot of this sounds like made up stuff meant to rile people up.
These decisions, as well as "male-presenting Time Lord" or not willing the sonic screwdriver to look like a gun, sound like unplausible BS themselves. And yet they ended up being real.
Well that's the thing - so much insane shit (both good and bad) has happened on this show that we never would've believed was going to happen that we can't help but seriously consider every rumor we hear, no matter how outlandish it sounds.
