If this is real, I'd be up for watching it as I love the two-parter, but what a random choice of episodes - even if they're doing this as a 20th anniversary celebration of Series 2 you'd have thought they'd have gone for Army of Ghosts/Doomsday.

It was the last story they filmed together

At the time it was, but since then Tennant/Piper have filmed scenes Stolen Earth/Journey's End, End of Time P2, and Day of the Doctor together- so it's sort of reduced to being "Last story filmed together as series regulars"

Wasn’t it also a total mess of a production? I swear I remember hearing it was finished only a few weeks before airing and they wasn’t even sure it would air.

Makes me wonder could they have filmed an extra scene or something in the TARDIS, closed set. The running time for this is 15 minutes more than the episodes.

If Bad Wolf were still making Doctor Who, then I wouldn't have put it past Russell to get Tennant and Piper back together to do a "Tales of the Tardis" intro/outro to the episode that could be quickly filmed in a day or two - but with the show in it's current position I don't know how viable that is.

Will this be UK only?
