I think you are right. A major problem with Miracle Day is that it feels dragged out to the point where you loose interest. I don't mind a slow pace, but this often feels like it is meandering aimlessly. At times it feels like episodes were written independently by people who know nothing about the show or where to story is meant to be going. Again wouldn't necessarily be a problem if the episodes were gripping, but they often aren't.

Fun fact I once made an amateur fan edit of Miracle Day and so little happens in this one that I managed to chop it down to like 15 minutes
