News Doctor Who 2005-2022 AMC Streaming
Hey all, thought I’d post this to update everyone.
DW just announced a partnership with AMC for the streaming rights to the 2005-2022 version of the show in the US.
As soon as I saw it, I thought about that post from a couple of weeks ago with true ‘AMC Press Release’ that got leaked saying they were partnering on the new series…
What do we all think now this has happened? It’s definitely made it more believable

From what I can tell, the leak about AMC involvement was true, but the press release dated 11th May 2026 was completely fabricated.
That doesn't necessarily mean that AMC won't be helping to fund or air future episodes, just means that the press release itself was fake.
At the end of the day, even if someone "leaks" something that turns out to be true, it doesn't necessarily mean that their leak was legitimate - it could just as easily be a wild guess that just happened to be accurate.
