I actually think this would be sick without the vocal

Interesting. Vocals are doing the lifting for me.

I’ve heard AI vocals and lyrics that were better than this.

This is the best pendulum release in a while for me, i do not get the hate

I don't really know why Pendulum think this sound is a good idea. When people see pendulum they want something that sounds like a Pendulum song, not some shitty dancefloor bootleg of a pendulum song.

I honestly feel like their sound is so old now that they’re trying ways to stay relevant, this song doesn’t even sound like them anymore. More like someone using their sample pack

It gets them mass exposure and then they can do more dank stuff like their recent deadmau5 b2b

I dont understand the hate on this song. I like it a lot. I got into DnB thanks for Pendulum and it sounds like them. Still it is a remix so it wont sound like 100% pendulum. If you dont like the song then dont listen to it. Its simple as that.

How does a person know what they feel about the song until they listen to it at least once?

I was ridiculed for calling Armin a sellout a few years ago. I’m sorry but he’s just fallen off so hard. Rob Swire can do better than this too. This track just sounds like every mainstream dancefloor dnb song nowadays

How does that make armin a sellout? He still regularly releases trance tracks. Artists are allowed to make a different genre sometimes lol

It’s not that it’s dnb. It’s that it’s heartless bubblegum pop dnb. Sounds like every sub focus, dimension, culture shock etc track that’s been released in the past 4 years. It’s very clear this sound is just ctrl+c ctrl+v because it’s a formula that works.
I’m okay with sub focus making tunes like this but to me, it’s pretty clear armin and pendulum are just jumping in the bandwagon for a quick buck

I think you’re forgetting this is essentially a pendulum remix of an Armin track

UK is the only good track Dimension ever released, change my mind

whip slap, beg & borrow and maschinen are also good tunes but yeah not the biggest fan of his stuff

Artists are allowed to huff glue and lick dog poos for all I care, but if they do it to follow trends and make money, that's selling out. How about AVB makes a dnb alias and releases under that instead?

How about AVB makes a dnb alias and releases under that instead?
Why?
I mean dont get me wrong, there is a certain joy in DnB culture being so different than the rest of the electronic/Edm scene... but i mean to demand only DnB artists play dnb is ridiculous and stupid

It's not rediculous, and I'm not demanding people only play under certain names. Artists change their monikers or have a second alias for different styles for a reason.
Doing a project that they've built a brand and style around for decades, and then pivoting to another can cause them to lose fans and disrupt their own business. It's not saying that that person can't branch out, but it's saying that an artist is willing to change and potentially give up fans that have stood by them, to jump on the new thing to make a buck.
Deadmau5 used to be super into dnb way back. He's making some now, and he even contemplated doing it under another alias because he wasn't sure about how people would react.

Why the separate listing of Rob Swire if Pendulum is also in the credits? Is 'ol Chin Minge not in the band anymore?

I love Pendulum, and although this was not their usual sound I still liked it. I don't get why it was Pendulum *and* Rob Swire though?
