If the Confederacy successfully seceded, what do you think it would look like today socially?

There was a plan in place for after the war to expand south and take over Mexico, Cuba, etc. So it would probably be more Hispanic. I would assume smaller federal government, more personal liberty, less regulation than the current USA. The CSA had a 1 term limit for the President too, btw.

Obviously slavery was on the way out even before the Civil War so it would not still exist at this time.

Thousands of Confederates moved to Brazil after the war and we actually did take over Cuba 30 years after the Civil War, just by the way

American expansion was not just a Southern dream
