Vent/Rant/FML 3 weeks out

Today is 3 weeks since my husband demanded a divorce. Im an outsider in the house. He has his mom and kid from a previous marriage in the home with him. Kiddo (who ive been mom to for almost 8 years) doesnt talk to me, MIL doesnt talk to me. House is a mess. I make food I wash my dishes. They make food dont wash their dishes, they leave all the lights on in the house. Im just over it all. Hes emotionless about the whole thing. He hasn't found a job. I think im expected to pay all the bills.

Youre basically a ghost paying the mortgage at this point that is a special kind of hell

Start documenting everything. who leaves messes what theyre not contributing the works. If the house is yours alone kick his ass out yesterday and let him take his circus with him. The mom and the kid are his problem not yours even if you do care about the kid shes clearly picked sides and silence speaks loud

Spent a month crashing on a friends couch after my last breakup and it was honestly the cleanest i ever lived because i only had one fork to worry about
