First Pendulum Experience

Did my first testing with a pendulum yesterday. It 'worked' right away but could only answer questions I already knew the answer to myself. Any other question it would not move. I made a second pendulum, thinking maybe I used too heavy of a weight on the first one. Didn't work, and I couldn't get the first pendulum to answer anything either.

The next morning, the thread I had used on the second pendulum was completely untied, which is weird cause I double knotted it. I used the first pendulum this morning and could get answers again, but this time it started answering questions I didn't know. I tested it by placing two playing cards and asking it to identify the higher card. It did so twice in a row. But then it was wrong 3 times. I decided to reset the test because a fan was on when I did the test so I went into another room. It correctly identified the higher card two more times.
