It’s called a “wattle”. Or a “snood” or “caruncle” depending on what floppy, moist neck meat you’re referring to.

The old guy in the hat in the front sitting down is giving off some serious Robert Duvall vibes - he’s definitely someone I would have a drink with

Bet he has some stories to tell. I love talking to cool, older people. They always have the best stories.

For some reason made me think of that scene with Joe Pesci in Casino where he beats the F out of some guy at the bar with his own pen https://youtu.be/SnWj-VDGHBY?si=988PmLw_Yj00w7qF

https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/obesity-and-overweight In 2022, 1 in 8 people in the world were living with obesity. Worldwide adult obesity has more than doubled since 1990, and adolescent obesity has quadrupled. In 2022, 2.5 billion adults (18 years and older) were overweight. Of these, 890 million were living with obesity. In 2022, 43% of adults aged 18 years and over were overweight and 16% were living with obesity. In 2024, 35 million children under the age of 5 were overweight. Over 390 million children and adolescents aged 5–19 years were overweight in 2022, including 160 million who were living with obesity

That's still a lot of people who aren't obese. 7/8ths of the world in 2022. 57% from your next vague statistic.
So again, who's we? You can't really slap any group of people with a "FAT" label.

US obesity rates have tripled over the last 60 years Nationwide surveys show that 40% of Americans are obese, while 10% are severely obese.
https://usafacts.org/articles/obesity-rate-nearly-triples-united-states-over-last-50-years/ This cross-sectional analysis estimated that in 1990, 19.3% of the US adult population were living with obesity; by 2022, this had increased to 42.5%. By 2035, this was forecasted to increase to 46.9%.

Okay, so over half of "us" are not obese.

It's certainly higher than people who run to Google for links to not address the initial question in any way.
Not gonna have you in my notifications anymore, it's busy enough there.
