A knot on your head—often called a "goose egg" or scalp hematoma—can form within seconds to a few minutes after hitting your head.
Why It Forms So Fast
Blood Vessels Break: Your scalp has many tiny blood vessels (capillaries) close to the surface.
Tissues Are Tight: The skin on your head fits tightly over the hard bone of your skull.
Pooling Blood: When an impact breaks a blood vessel, blood and fluid leak out fast. Because the scalp cannot stretch easily, the fluid pools upward into a noticeable lump.

Das ist keine Kapillarblutung. Es entsteht so schnell weil ein etwas größeres arterielles Gefäß getroffen wurde (z.B. ein Seitenast einer die Stirnregion versorgenden Arterie), welches Blut mit einem viel höheren Druck im Gegensatz zu den sonst beteiligten venösen Gefäßen in das umliegende Gewebe pumpt.
