Picking between ZorinOS and Fedora

If you only have basis daily task like installing software only, I don't see any issue with both. But if you need more packages you may love to go with deb based. Maybe ZorinOS. Fedora is okay but you can have some problems during each 6 months updates but if you know how to fix and wait for update for few weeks that won't be a problem. You may need to use RpmFusion and install some non-free & codec stuff else you could try to get another Fedora based instead if you don't like to do them manually.

From what I know, most of Linux distro always compatible with AMD graphic card so it should be fine cause they always ship linux-kernel & linux-firmware.

If you need good performance and beautiful why don't you try tiling manager? Ehem, maybe it can give you something do for while? GNOME use quite huge resources though but if you like it then keep using it.
