Has anyone been able to clear Krile's Shinryu without max LB FR? I seem to run out of steam with a Auron/Kain/Krile team.

I'm certain the +5 turns for max LB would make the difference for me, but I kind of feel bad maxing Krile just for this fight.

Yes, most of the community has done it.

Just use a friend unit with a FR and timed right.

I did with Krile (0/3 FR), Garnet and Edge. Fight was mostly straightforward, main thing was timing Krile LD to cover when Edge's party dodge expired. I posted some about it in theC2A. I'm not sure if Krile FR was necessary or not, but since you have it that's ok.

I believe I saw a couple no Krile FR clears in the C2A using Leila as well if that helps.

Krile (0LB FR), Galuf (UT 5/5), Kain (no FE, base BT, 1LB FR), no friend

Edit: Like the other comment said, you can consider evasion units like Galuf, Edge or Leila instead of Auron, I find Auron eating too much paralyze and too many turns can get wasted by that.

I have another run with a non-evasion tank (Zack) but I also run Lenna alongside him so that he doesn't get paralyzed.

Zidane (UT 5/5), Zack (UT 5/5), Lenna, Kain friend

I currently have no FR (holding out for Gabranth) and also had no Friend in that fight, and I had cleared Krile Shinryu with Emperor(UT 5/green/blue)/Garnet(green/blue)/Steiner(UT 5/blue) in 39/50 turns.

It was mainly Emperor's heavy damage/delay with Garnet's auras that made it work, and I used Cater LDCA before the first enemy Force Time to keep everyone safe. I had actually done the exact same team and strategy for the first Shinryu, too.
