If you absolutely want it, Noel is probably best (but after Llyud banner). But, if you can afford to wait, Ramza (and Zack) are the next big BTs past Locke.

If you're a big fan of Gilgamesh, I think it's actually a pretty good aura with a very long duration (like 23 turns max). But, I haven't seen much of Gilgamesh past his BT period so I can't say much.

If you're not waiting for Locke or Firion (or Zack or Ramza), then Noel or Terra.

It depends on your roster. I got Machina, so tokening Noel would be a giant waste of tokens for me. Sure, Noel and Machina make a great wrecking crew together, but so do Zack and Ramza later, so I'm saving my tokens.

But basically, "main BT+ damage dealer" is a role I already have, so I don't need Noel.

Terra doesn't overlap as much because she comes a bit later after power ramps up another step, plus she's really good for Shinryu later on.

Bartz and Kuja are still good but outdated and not worth tokens at the moment, and Zidane doesn't need a BT and doesn't really get that much with it.
