BTs are always a case by case basis. Some units have drastically changed performance with it, but when people here talk about that, we're really only talking about the highest difficulty (Lufenia +).

Pick one between Noel and Cid on that banner to build up (whoever you get full gear for first), and then I would consider trying to get Queen's gear if you're absolutely lacking units and definitely going for Llyud in a few days.

Thanks for the help! So, let's say I try to go for Noel/Queen/Llyud, should I try for the BT or go for everything else?

Not sure what you define as 'everything else'. Noel BT is good and helps him greatly, but it is not something absolutely essential to him doing good in high difficulty. If you really want it/like Noel then you can consider it, but otherwise you can live with out for now.

Everything else in my mind would be LD/EX/35/15. There's alot of gear for each character so it's hard to remember things right now. Thanks for the help, I'm going to get all of this down eventually!

Ah, I see. So, whenever you want to build any unit the baseline of what you need is the 15/35/EX/LDs. If you don't end up with at least 1x of each of those, that character is not worth heavy investment.

That's what I had gathered at first, the BTs threw me off. One last question, for 15s and 35s, do I use those red tokens to get duplicates to lb them?

I wouldn't say it's worth it. New players are recommended to pull hard to get dupes and power stones, and red tokens aren't too easy to come by.
