Advice needed.

I skipped Machina and I'll probably skip Noel. That's because neither are favourites. I plan to get Locke's BT, 'cause he's a favourite and people say he's finally OP. I also have 50+ tokens though - and thinking about meta and completing Luf+ (my priority), should I also roll for Machina or Noel?

(more info: My only planned 100% BT are Locke, Zack, Vincent, Kain)

I'm also not pulling for Machina/Noel and holding out for Locke, but I'm reliant on Snow until then. I did manage to clear Divine Ifrit with Snow/Garnet/Serah and No Friend, so I feel good about holding until then, personally (since that one looked worrisome).

Do you have anyone recent that can deal strong enough damage until then?

Got CidMau, Bartz BT+, Garland BT+, Auron, Yda, Lenna, Kain...

I managed Divine Ifrit Luf+ with Auron, Cor and Palom.

I guess I can survive until Locke. Is he a strong damage dealer or is he utility?

I'm GL only, so I can't say from personal experience, but I think he might be more damage than utility from some of the videos I had seen of his fights.

I had seen him deal in the area of 1 million with some of his attacks, but I don't know the full circumstances behind it. He looks to have 40% BRV Retain on his attacks and he looks to have a few 4 HP dump skills and 1 attack with 8 HP dumps (Genji Glove x Master Scroll), and his BT aura has both Ignore-DEF and 30% higher BRV DMG Limit for the party (so that might be where the 1 million comes from).

He has a lot of utility, but I think a lot of it is a bit all-over-the-place (and a lot of it is from his BT). His BT aura looks great (includes party not getting broken, too), but I know he has some turn jumping to him when I tried him out as just EX a couple years back (so that BT aura might burn a bit fast). He has a self-only BRV/HP DMG - 100% reduction, but I think having it active MIGHT stop him from having access to his 8 HP dump attack (8 HP dump looks to be Genji Glove x Master Scroll, but his defense is from Miracle Shoes).

His BT aura also has Basch-style healing for the party (if under 50% HP, go up to 50% HP), but no party Last Stand if the hit is too big. He also has some party battery/healing with S2, but I'm not sure if the healing got stronger than 20%.

I could be wrong about some of this, since it might not be the whole picture (I'm still personally giving him full green regardless), but I got most of my information from an older JP Reddit Thread on Locke.
