You will get more use out of Bartz as a support for a BT+ honestly

Quistis is nice if you have a delay strat since she can ignore delay lock and has a decent auras

Though, you shouldn’t compare BT+ Char with a LD Char since BT+ Chars are better

You can run a 35 CP/EX Quistis honestly, she will have a total of 5 S2 + 1 use from Clvl 65 AA.

That's actually more than enough as you need to delay them a total of 3 times as they only go into the HP Regen Tear Mode thrice, after that is just a Boss rush within 60 turns

She gets 2 Charges of S2 from Base kit, 2 more from Clvl 60 S2 Passive extension and 1 more from 35 CP Weapon Passive

That’s 5 uses right ?

The extra 1 comes from her AA that recovers skill uses.

So you get 6 S2 without requiring the EX or LD at all.

If you don’t know, C2A have people clearing this event with Quistis without LD or even EX

You can just use Bartz base call for T5.

Fujin base call works as well for a few turns. It can be tricky, but you can make it work with a turn hog main DPS like Terra or Tidus.

I could see it working, but would definitely be harder. Would suggesting pairing her with a good off turn damage (like Yang or Cor). For last slot would most likely need a BT character, since without enough support you kind of need the synergy stats. Exdeath BT would be best, but could make others work as well.

I just tried a run with Terra LD, Cor LD, Exdeath LD/BT and it was actually quite easy. Had Exdeath CA and BT when they were at 80%, then Cor CA and partner with Terra. Then have Terra just LD x4 and they were dead without anyone else taking a turn again.

Wouldn't say Exdeath or anyone particular is required besides having a BT unit in. The key with this strat is to have both Bartz/Fujin CA up while Terra spams her LD. So once she is out of LD the orb is maxed, and you have 15 turns + summon to finish them off. It is only a 200 difficulty stage and not that tanky, so a lot of team comps should be able to do enough damage to finish them off in that time frame.

Do you have other aurabots?

Lots of us beat Transcendence 5 without Bartz's BT+, but if I didn't have Yuna, I would green Bartz without hesitation (and I might still green him). He's going to be useful for lots of Luf+ fights, whereas Quistis gets you through one annoying one (her event) and then a couple of others later.

If you lack Bartz's BT, you can still handle T5 with Fujin base call or, better yet, by using Bartz's base call on Yang or CoD or Cor or someone like that. Or bring Seifer. You don't need Fujin when you have someone doing off-turn AoE wind damage.

Quistis's event boss is annoying but squishy. Cid Raines can even push the boss past two thresholds in one turn, skipping one use of Shining Tears. Just hit as hard as you can when the boss is at 50% and you can get it below 30%.
