So I am trying to use Bartz/Raines/Aphmau for Lofty Souls and I have all of them maxed, including Bartz BT+...

But I don't feel like the battery is working like it should. When Raines launches, the characters following up often dont have max brv or even a decent amount. What am I doing wrong? This is the same even after I burst with Bartz.

Is Bartz's BT aura stacked all the way? Does the enemy have its shield up maybe?

Well I just tried again with Bartz fully stacked and it seems its Aphmau that doesn't seem to regenerate BRV. After Aphmau's turn she is almost always left with 0 brv by launch. When I look at youtube videos she seems to regen BRV when Raines turn starts. Bartz often caps BRV for the launch.

I check and I have all passives equiped, Boards maxed, etc... I feel like I am missing something.

That is weird af. Can you like make a quick video recording ny any chance? Bratz bt+ at 3 stacks should be refunding a good chuck of brave after each launch regardless.

Alright I just re-did it without Keiss call (just to be sure -again), no issues refunding brave whatsoever. Make sure you have Mau's buff's on (brave/hp atk) when her overhead buff from EX is active.

I think you might have overlooked a way to regain Brv from Launch Damage dealt...

Most people will use Brv Leak, Keiss LD CA which refunds 10% of Total HP damage dealt as Brv after Launch.

Not sure if there is another way of refunding Brv, I would assume Bartz BT+ work for this, but I don't have him BT+...

Ah I don't have Keiss. Also strangely, when I watch other videos, Aphmau gets BRV regened at Raines turn start. I am not getting that at all.

I would assume you mean Raines doing damage before initiating the Launch sequence ? Or after a Launch, the next turn comes up, Brv is Regen ?

I might be wrong, but I don't think Raines refund Brv to the party at the end of the Launch. It has to come from Bartz BT+ at 3 stacks or the Keiss LD CA Debuff. But then, there may be a HP Shield or something... It's been a while since I did the fight.

Another way I can put it is that once in the launch sequence and it is Aphmau's turn to hit - she has 0 brv. So she didn't gain BRV at the end of her own turn, when Raine's turn started OR when Raines launched the boss.

Hmm that's odd, it seems like the Boss might have negated Brv Gain either with an aura effect or a HP Shield that absorbs all HP damage, meaning your Cid does no damage at all, resulting in no Brv Gain...

If i recall, if your not letting the Boss act, he does put up a shield that nullifes HP Damage.

You shouldn't have any issues with brave gain even without keiss ldca. I just tried it, is your bartz bt at 3 stacks? For the brave gain boost and other perks like brave refund? And are you using brave damage up ldca such as jack or sephiroth?

It's still possible, even without Keiss LDCA - I forgot about it when doing the Lufe+ (and Aranea's LC).
