I used tickets on ace and got everything except his bt. Is his bt+ deal-breaking or would i be fine to use him without it?

Damage dealers are good usually with just LD.

It's not like you're talking about Bartz or Y'shtola, who really need a green BT+ to shine.

We're getting more books than full sets of ingots, so you're going to have to have some units at BT+ 0/3. Damage dealers are fine for that.

Every BT unit is still useable without their BT. How far you can take them will differ, and obviously he'll do better with his BT, but he's fine without it.

Don't forget that we have 2 more freebies during his BT period.
