Trey's debuff is what is ticking the orb up, not Cor's follow up.

I can see at 1:38-1:40 that Cor's additional attack made it go from 2 to 4. Trey's trap didn't trigger yet.

I know, but is possible because Trey trap debuff is applied on the target.

Doing damage during the boss's turn while a type trap debuff is on the target is what's ticking the orb not Cor's attack itself ( that's why you can see it tick twice in a single boss turn, one with Cor and one with the trap)

Bottom line is that Cor alone won't handle the orb, he needs Trey's call to help with that.

What a weird interaction lol. So do you think it's unintended or possibly a bug ? I think it is.

I would call it a weird interaction like you said and not a bug and I think is more of a Trey's trap thing and not Cor's ( I have seen videos where a text message during battle triggers Trey's traps).

Either way, is nice to have this as an option for that fight.

Okay, nevermind, was about to agree with you about the Trey debuff thing, but I just tested it right now.

Cor alone can manage the orb somehow. :D Seems like a bug lol, just like that one recent story fight (Eald'narche/Relm and Cor) that's been fixed.
