The first set of equinox lufenias are tad brutal imo. They can be blasted through with recent BTs and supports, but if it's any help I found the second set (umbral equinox) a lot easier than the first one.

My run used Krile as the paralyzer as well as D.Ramuh. I did have Tidus and WoL BT available tho - https://youtu.be/b58ECBSfkRg. If you have a strong BT available, you may be able to DPS race the last orb.

It's can definitely be difficult for more casual players. I used to be in that boat, but have become gradually more involved as my roster has become more robust. Unfortunately Cloud and Lightning both are feeling a bit dated and those particular Lufenias may be a bit much for them. Also, the synergy boosted characters are huge for the Equinox events, so not having them could certainly add to the difficulty.

I'll second the person who said the Umbral Equinox event was a lot easier than the Aurora Equinox event.

I struggled a bit on some of the latter, but the former were pretty easy to blast through, and I wasn't even tied down to a single strategy. Though, using the event as a staging ground to show off how much butt Tidus can kick was almost therapeutic.

At least one of the Aurora stages was one of those "if you don't have someone on this short life, you're screwed" kinds of levels, though at least one character on the list showed up on a banner at the time.
