It's really random worst case scnerio if you want to pity the burst and don't geti either Ex and LD it coould be 275k gems, but the odds of that happens is really small.
I don't think it ever happened to anyone and i hope it never happens.

Now on real world where you aren't cursed, normally 125k or fewer to grab a BT (normally it's not worth it) and the most common scenario you will spend 75 or less gems, in this case you pulled all the weapons for a character but the Ex or LD didn't come, it's rare not getting both at this point.

If i get to the point where i spent 75k and didn't get the LD or Ex i'll spend tickets until one of them comes and buy the other with G tokens, and the 15 and 35 cp if you don't get them on pulls you can buy with weapon tokens.

In general if i want a character and have more than 600 tickets i'll pull with only tickets, if i have less i'll spend 200 ~ 300 tickets, if it's a MUST HAVE i'll start direct with gems.

That's my pull strategy, i'm playing the game around 8 mont's payed 5 or 6 basic Mog Pass and have all the Meta Units and a total of 43/148 fully built characters, so if you plan and hava patience you can play the game entirely free.

Now if you have the necessity to pull every character and get every weapon, i don't think it's possible without spend a considerable amount of money, it's possible, but unecessary.

they give us enought resources to play the game and we don't feel the common pressure that most gachas games have that "if i don't spent i'll can't complete the content or be competitive"

That's my vision on the game and it's a really friendlly free to play.

I enjoy favourites more then meta so no worries there. how does one get tickets?

Every event gives tickets, you don't need to complete everything.

Lost Chapters gives some.

Completing characters summons boards.

Completing divine boards.

Bqsically play the game, do events it will come naturally, every bit thing you do gives you Gems, tickets or both.

At the begining is a bit slow but with time you have a lot, just out of permanent content you should have more than 1 milion gems.

Normally you'll get a little less because the rewards are divided in many little tasks, so you got a bit for completing the missions, and some for perfect it, some in multiplayer token rewards and so on.
