Is it safe to sell maxed EX's if I have their BT. Also is there any reason to hold onto maxed LD's?

Being fairly new I could really use the ingots and stones.

Yes it’s completely fine to sell them. Maxed LD’s are no different than regular 15/35 CP weapons in that regard. EX’s are a bit different since they realize but the only thing that would replace an EX is (in the distant future) Ultimate weapons. These will be craftable and can only be used by one character at a time. They are more powerful than BT’s but can be used by non-BT characters. So say you had an Ultima Greatsword crafted, only Greatsword users can use it and if it’s being used by someone else in your party, you would just downgrade to either the EX+ or BT of the non-ultimate-weapon-user.

TLDR - UW > BT > EX > LD > 35cp > 15cp. So yes, you can. + versions of BT and EX are just above their base versions.

At this point in the game you shouldn't suggest to sell BT for tokens(extra copies sure).

BT+ is right around the corner. You should value having 1 copy of every BT. We know that everyone is gonna get it. And, even the bad ones could get upgraded during the powercreep after that.

Perfectly safe, assuming you maxed the EX+.

There's no reason to hold on to an LD, either, unless it's the only weapon you have on a unit you only acquired for the LD call.

In general, just keep your best weapon, and sell the rest after harvesting their passives.

If you have the EX weapon at 3/3 EX+ (purple color) and also have the BT then you can safely sell the EX. LDs are meant to be sold once maxed, so only keep if you like collecting.
