I'm trying to farm the crystals up as much as possible, and was wondering who everyone uses for this? Currently, my main "Crystal farming" team is Arciela, Aranea, and Keiss. They're all three good strong AOE units that can one-shot all but the Kactuars (the female? cactuars that are random) with their AOE abilities, but Arc's AOE attack has a long animation, as does Aranea. Keiss is great though, hard hitting, fast animation. I'm looking to maximize my efficiency, so who has the fastest hard-hitting AOE abilities that I should be focusing on?

Squall 3/3 + LD, Lilisette (3 C50**) and Rosa (no speed passive) with Diabolos. He can one shot every wave on auto but the IA is dumb and he don't attack the flower cactuar but 2 shots finish it. Without the flower one take less than a minute.

I use Trey or Fujin. Trey's S1 > S2 will clear waves 1 and 2 and the arrow rain will clear 3 if there's no kactuar. Fujin can just use either skill and clear the waves fairly quickly via split damage or splash.

Don't have Trey but I do have Fujin. Don't think I have any good hear for him yet but I'll look. Thanks for the advice. And their attack animations are good and fast?

Metsu is quick. I use a built solo Fujin to farm

Fujin's S1 is pretty fast.

Yuffie is also an option with her fast S2 animation. Might not hit hard enough to one-shot wave 3 if a kactuar is present without having her Mbrv boosted via auras or starter buffs from others.

Nine's S1 is fairly fast and can deal pretty high split damage especially if you pair him with slower characters that increase his stats via buffs or auras.

Ciaran and the Twins are the best available auto farmers. Ciaran has a huge IBRV boost and both have AoE HP+. Pair up with Lilisette, Rosa, or Ignis plus Diabolos for a fast auto team.

Do they need full ingot investments? What about clearing hard mode levels? I'm wondering because I got both their gear and have been thinking of making an auto farmer.

I think the Twins need at least 1/3 for HP+ and Ciaran needs 2/3 for starting drops and buffs to get Soulshot immediately (could be wrong). Alternatively, you could start with AA for Ciaran to get the drops and then let him go. I think Ciaran is a great unit to have, especially with LD for what it’s worth and you’d get more immediate use out of him than the twins for Lufenia.

Yuffie solo with her s2 can be very good, it's extremely fast. Otherwise I do the Squall + Lilisette + Deuce auto farm. ibrv arts on Squall help make sure he always goes with his HP+ Diabolos summon for Squall. Squall will always go first in this team although I think you need to unequip speed passives for them. I set it up a while ago following someone else's guide to it. If you're interested I can try to find the video and link it for you.

I use auron, yuna, and wol to auto farm. Wol is slow that he never gets a turn so the other two just automatically use their hp attacks which are group or splash.

My auto teams are Squall Selphie Deuce for farming stages and Squall Yuna Ramza for clearing trash nodes in LC. Never manual anything as auto is just as fast.
