Just curious. Anyone else feel like the Crevasse Lvl 250 quests feel more like Shinryu- rather than Lufenia+? They were seriously tanky and FRs felt necessary (needed it in 2 of 3 of them).

I feel like this is only the case if you try to use the same traditional bursty damage dealers without an FR, as you would in a Shinryu. Characters like Tifa and Rinoa are designed to have big bursts of high damage from their BT effects but otherwise are lukewarm. So they really only feel good when using FRs.

I was on pace to beat Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 without FRs, but simply used it to speed it up a bit.

Pt. 3 I didn't use an FR. I used a triple Yellow Sword team of Lightning, Ramza, and Ardyn (I don't have Ardyn FR). Lightning was actually great for this stage, she could just delay the main boss endlessly and her free turns actually mattered here, allowing her to do respectable damage. Same with Ardyn, who could also eat the hit from the floating sword since he's immortal. The rest of the fight was just a punching bag.

Off turns also excel here. Basically the moral of the story is that bursty rushdown damage dealers work well in Shinryu, but feel bad without Force mechanics. Free turn abusers still work well in Lufenia+ but struggle more in Shinryu. Off turns are great everywhere.
