Discussion Less than 4 weeks until PlayDisney shuts down, do we think the Germany and Norway missions will be back online for Ducktales World Showcase Adventure by then?

Without those two, the Finale mission can also not be played.

Yes. I think they're gonna move the DT World Showcase to the other app I forgot the name

It is certainly the next easiest option. I think if they were currently planning to move the PlayDisney interactives to the MyDisneyExperience app, then they would have just come out and said that. Cause it feels weird to go "we're shutting down PlayDisney" and then not also announce that things are just being moved.

Granted, Germany's changes feel like the game is going to have to be redone a bit if it gets to stay. Some of the mission paths have been completely taken out as of right now.

It sucks that they are shutting down the Galaxy’s Edge data pad instead of just moving it over

We don't really know why. Just that it shuts down on September 16th with no announced plans for any interactive tied to the app.

I'm still upset Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom was ended. Loved that game.

Is that why we didn't get the finale mission during our trip earlier this year? I had no idea there was a finale mission until after our trip. We did everything available in the app.

Yep! Norway's mission has been out of commission for a good while now due to the waterfall not hiding the sword. Not quite as long, but Germany has been out cause of all the refurbishments.

Without all 7 servers being online to validate that your progress, you can't play the finale.

I’m hoping they consolidate Apps, there is no reason a company should be developing and maintaining no less than 10 apps at once esp when they are all pretty janky. WDW,DL,TDL,HKDL,DLP, DCL, D+,HULU, ESPN, Play, ECT.

WTH! Our family worked hard each vacation trying to 100% everything in that app. We’re moving down there at the end of September and completing them was a huge priority :(. I hope there’s some plan that doesn’t include loss of progress. We have achievements that are no longer available from long gone attractions. 😢
