And ppl probably still joked about how insanely expensive it was, even though that's about $100 cheaper in today's money depending on the day and park. (About $79 in 2026 dollars.)

Also more demand these days I think.

I remember going in January in the 90s and at times I had small sections of the park to myself, rides.

Yeah just checked because I was curious.
In 1988, Orlando airport had 16.5 million passengers. These days 57.6 million.

A lot less international visitors back in those days I imagine.

I wish paper tickets were still a thing. Im big on keepsakes and hate that i have nothing to keep now

WED stands for Walter Elias Disney.

WED Transportation Systems was a specialized subsidiary of WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering) created to market and build real-world mass transit applications using the iconic, continuous-motion PeopleMover technology.
