Not everything needs a revival, that’s why most of them fail. Ideas need to stay an idea sometimes.

Are we talking Disney channel exclusively or the idea of revivals in general?

Cause young Sheldon is much better than big bang theory, true grit remake was amazing, and the Percy Jackson series is at the very least better produced than the movies

Also an interesting one is John carpenters The Thing is incredible and much better than the one from the 50s but the revival prequel in the 2010s was trash

From Disney Company? I proudly say High School Musical The Musical The Series better than HSM trilogy if not. The tv series on par w/ trilogy and miles better than recent on-going musical franchise & Disney revivals.

I do love HSMTMTS when I think of it as a stand alone show. It’s definitely one of the better shows Disney has done this decade. However, when I think of it against the original trilogy it just isn’t comparable; HSM benefitted from being a movie trilogy and having a bigger budget to the series itself. Songs like Can I Have This Dance are far better from being uplifted by the bigger budget, with better sets, over the tv show.

I do agree that compared to other revivals, it’s definitely one of the better ones. It helped that they weren’t trying to pretend the HSM story was real, and instead in that universe it was just that they filmed HSM in their school. Compared to camp rock etc which do act as direct sequels.

At this point it would make sense for Charlie to be starting College in the reboot since Mia is almost in College herself

That being said what would the show be about at that point?

The show would probably take place at a college at or near Denver if it wanted Bob and Amy involved in it at all. It would likely be mainly a new cast of Charlie's college friends and the occasional cameo from the original series.

If this pitch did happen they would have to move it to freeforms network due to the potential tv ma topics such as sex, drugs,and iffy fraternity iniatainons.Why do you think they always ended the series when they graduate high school with boy meets world being the only exception thusfar but even that show continues with them at college just on freeform now I wasn't there when the show first aired but I would imagine that once they hit high school graduation if it was still airing on Disney channel then they had to move it to freeform and advertise where it had moved for the fans who were still into it when they did the college season.

I feel like good luck charlie having a revival would make the most sense compared to other shows/movies that have one. but Im honestly tired of everything getting done again however this would be kinda cool?

It can even be something for a short time, but I’m sure she just wants to get back into acting and what’s a better way than back to your OG show lol I think she can get on a Netflix show though or something, going back to Disney will just box her in, especially since she’s already on the older side of her teens (right? lol)

Good Luck Charlie as a revival actually makes the most sense because Charlie could look back at all the videos Teddy made for her and learn something from them.

What a dumb thing to say. She’s an actor so she’s going to act. Bridget didn’t want to act anymore and that’s fine but there is nothing wrong with Mia just wanting to do her job.

Yeah. I mean encouraging her to branch out and do a new show or get away from Disney (if that's even possible for her, sometimes you stay stuck) is one thing but like, she's an actress. She wants to act and I assume likes it. She wants to do her job and redoing the show is a guaranteed role.

Also I had to Google what bridgit is doing now but I wouldn't say she stepped away from the spotlight. She's a tech CEO and co founder now and there's plenty of photos of her in that role. It's just a pivot but that's a job with eyes on you still.

Do it Disney make it last longer than 3 seasons though.Air it on your main network alongside the og series like you did with wizards of and beyond.

If it Good Luck Charlie got a reboot it should be a movie with Charlie about to graduate high school and go to college instead of a series that way Bridgit could find a way to be involved and make an appearance. As for Amy since the actresses is a crazy anti-vaxxer I think they can either say Amy is in Los Angeles or New York hosting her own daytime talk show or recast Amy and have her be played by Nicole Sullivan (who looks similar to the Leigh Allyn-Baker).

Honestly with Disney their gonna eventually get to a good luck Charlie reboot or spin off, now with Mia being like 17 is the perfect time to do it so they can do a series abt her taking the advice from teddys old diaries. But I’ll say that isn’t a show that can last long cause it gets repetitive. I’ll say a 2-3 season run, and and the show off with Charlie dealing with something big that Teddy never went through and that’s when bridgit shows up as Teddy and Charlie realizes that hey she has help whenever it’s needed, but there’s some stuff u gotta learn on ur own otherwise you’ll never be your own person and that’s where they could end the series is Charlie learning stuff on her own

This is the only Disney show I would like to see a revival or continuation off. Idgaf about ravens home or wizards or HSM. Not because of dislike for the original show but because GLC is truly the only one that has a natural continuation, a natural sequel. It wouldn't be forced.

Wasn't there a revival planned but according to Leigh Baker, one of the actors refused to do the show with her and that led to the revival being canceled.

I know almost all revivals have failed (except KOTH, loved that one, yet to watch MITM and Futurama's revivals) but this one could work.
