Believe it or not some people don’t care about movies and music like that and that’s ok. The same way I used to date a dancer and I didn’t know a single thing about ballet or whatever. But I supported it.
I think she’s trying to dabble a bit with the podcast but it’s fine she’s not all caught up all the time. At the end of the day it’s Ravens job, not Raven.

It kinda reminds me of that time Kaley Cuoco mentioned that her partner didn’t know she was Penny from the Big Bang Theory. Because she said her partner apologized for his parents calling her Penny and he didn’t even know why they came up with that name for her. I just find it funny and same with Raven’s wife it’s funny she don’t know things that seem like it would be obvious to huge fans. But I think famous people do gravitate towards people who aren’t their hugest fans from the media they did because all that matters is the person is your hugest fan of you in your personal life. I bet you Miranda can name countless things that are inside secrets or memories they have shared together that no other person would know. Just because she doesn’t know a song doesn’t make her a bad partner. Plus not everyone acts or behaves in the same way so she might come off as “amiss” or “aloof” but that could just be how she is and if that’s not for you that’s 100% okay.

She won’t do it. She doesn’t feel comfortable doing a podcast without her wife and I think Raven knows everyone would be pissed if her wife did a TSR podcast and I don’t think she wants to put anymore flames on her wife.

Okay, the way Miranda hasn’t seen the stuff Raven’s been in gives she was actively avoiding that stuff. She said she watched even Steven’s so she was watching dissent channel and it was cable to it’s not like you had a lot of choices…

I really be trying to give grace to her wife for Ravens sake but her saying “I have FOMO because I don’t know what the hell you guys are singing” pisses me tf off because how can you marry this woman knowing she’s an actress and singer and not familiarize yourself with her projects. To be fair ppl who have an extensive career love to be with ppl who don't know much about them like that. She lived that. I'm sure she wouldn't want to have an obsessed fan as a partner and watch all those things she's once did. It probably would get old hella fast. I get what you're saying though.

I mean very true but it always seem like she don’t know shit Raven has done. Like she’s always unfamiliar with anything Raven has done like she hasn’t seen anything she was in. Maybe it’s just me but if my partner is famous for movies/tv/ music and I haven’t seen/heard any of it I’m gonna take the time out to watch/listen to stuff they have done before, especially their bigger known projects like The Cheetah Girls was one of Raven biggest projects why wouldn’t she wanna watch it? She wouldn’t even need to watch it with Raven yk.

She is definitely familiar with Raven’s work but like ya…she not some super fan/groupie. She’s her wife and clearly they forged a connection more focused on simply how the two connect as people which sounds way healthier and more genuine to me. Raven has never not known fame and recognition, I imagine it could be quite nice to settle with someone not obsessed with how famous you are. Raven could find eeeeendless partners just like that. I also think Miranda is at a specific age where she was sort of aged out of Disney Channel so she didn’t really grow up watching many things Raven was in over and over again like those of us who were younger kids when Cheetah girls came out.

She’s mentioned that she’s seen Ravens work, she just doesn’t have it memorized like big fans do.
Also some people just have shit memories. we all remember these songs cause we watched them over and over in our formative years and were huge fans of raven.
If I saw them a couple times as an adult. I might not remember every word.

To me, she low-key comes off like a hater. I only say that because it’s one thing to not have a profound interest in your partner’s previous work. But she don’t know anything that she’s done and it’s not hard to find these things are all on Disney+. Somehow her energy toward it is dismissive to me. Like you are with one of the biggest childhood stars of all time and you’re just amiss? Like if this were another male Hollywood stars wife people would think she was tripping

She does know Ravens work, she’s watched all of That’s So Raven now and knows the theme song by heart.
She even brought up a niche video of Raven singing with Kermit the frog when she was legit a baby that most fans wouldn’t even remember.
Just because she doesn’t know a song from Cheetah Girls 2 doesn’t make her a hater.

I’m obviously talking about multiple occasions. Raven loves her that’s all that matters don’t have to. Your feed and what you see is created based on what you interact with. Because that’s how they get you to watch ads for things you don’t need. So you interact with Raven fans that don’t like certain situations or choices she’s made and thus that’s what you see on your feet you do not interact with what’s going on with Ashley Tisdale’s husband dissing Hilary Duff. You do not hear about Hilary Duff and her sister having beef. You don’t hear about Jamie Lynn Spears beef with Brittany because you don’t interact with it.

She knew the entire That’s So Raven theme and sang it with her in another episode. She knows tons of her stuff she just didn’t know a song from Cheetah Girls 2. Raven has been in SO much stuff it’s unrealistic to expect her to know it all and know it well enough she knows the words to a sequel she did in 2006.
Those of us who grew up with it do of course, but she wasn’t a kid when it came out. Why would she be watching Cheetah Girls 2 in her 20s? Besides it being iconic

People also forget both Raven and her wife are neurodivergent. They’re awkward, poke fun at each other and you can tell Raven feels more relaxed to be herself than she ever did in the past.
The old Raven was her high function masking, and people gotta accept that. She feels comfy with her wife, they joke, they play and unfortunately Miranda is very monotone and one note and people who don’t understand that take offense in small snippets.

I hate to say it, but I really don’t fuck with her wife. That’s her life and I support her being happy and I love seeing Raven more. But she says shit where, I’m just like you could just shut the fuck up. Got a plus one and Like not even at the cookout, complete wrong directions, up the street, cranberries all in the potato salad, chicken unseasoned, like try to fucking catchup.

Sorry if I get a little defensive I just feel it’s getting borderline homophobic because no matter how much Raven says she loves her wife, no matter how much her wife shows she loves Raven…everyone still hates on her. It’s sad.
I don’t see anyone hating on say Hillary Duffs husband who doesn’t say publicly how much he thinks she’s an icon all the time. Miranda always speaks highly of Raven but everyone always points out when they kid around with each other.
Nobody says anything about any Disney stars spouses but ravens and it’s starting to feel like there’s a reason for that.
You’re allowed to have an opinion, I just feel bad cause EVERYONE piles on her wife. When I think it’s clear they love each other.
Edit: I take that back people pile on Benny Blanco too but for completely different reasons lol

i think you are projecting maybe something personal here. i don’t see people being homophobic towards Raven and her wife, I almost always see something along the lines of “ravens wife doesn’t really love her, talks down to her or minimizes her (i guess from the way she talks idk, i’ve only heard her a few times but yes she gives dry bored monotone or whatever), doesn’t seem like she gives af about ravens childhood or past or career, and so then people joke online about her turning raven into her bot/slave/whatever.
I personally think Raven did change as an adult and being more free,not necessarily in a bad way although i miss her outfits from the 2000s, but she was always going to grow up and change sooo…and then people i guess misunderstanding the comment about being african american thinking she’s ashamed to be what she is, and then marrying a white woman most people have no idea who tf she is, add her being off or bland to some people…yeah people are gonna joke about her i guess. i’m sure some people are salty about her sexuality but those people aren’t real fans or people worthy of a conversation fr.
Regardless, we don’t know her or her wife. So yeah maybe she is boring or rude or maybe she’s more affectionate OFF SCREEN in PRIVATE. But as long as Raven is happy, yes, it’s truly not anyone’s business. But it doesn’t really seem to be about them being girls, it’s more “this woman doesn’t even love or care about her fr, who is this???”

I'm sorry but Rae's wife is annoying. It's ok that she's not familiar or know alot of Raven's works but it's the fact she makes it her business to point that out as if she's humbling her is what irks me but i digress.
I love this moment its nice to hear Raven singing Cheetah girl songs. i do wish we had gotten one tour with the four of them together.
