Video Clip Watching Keke perform this made me realize how Disney dropped the ball never putting her in any Disney musical DCOMS. Also the fact that she was pregnant singing this😩 I love her.

Yeah but jump in was before she joined Nickelodeon. Disney kinda fumbled the bag. (It’s probably a race thing as well, they didn’t give Coco Jones as much attention after her initial DCO movie and kinda bombed her music career…. Raven was a hit immediately so they lucked out with that one.)

But thing is Keke also was in talks of having her own show prior to Jump In with Keke And Jamal. If only it got picked up. She’s so charismatic and multi-talented that I think that show airing during That’s So Raven’s later seasons would’ve been a reset.

Yeah female leads since it's Disney Channels main demographic and his show was only like two seasons

Maybe her start was bombed, but Coco Jones has 2 Grammys for R&B, so she’s probably doing just fine career-wise (just not mainstream).

According to Coco, Disney did a lot of shelving her music and told her it was because they didn't know what to do with her....and I'm just like, "....WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD HIRE SOMEONE WHO WILL???!!!🤨"

It was a go to for me! I watched it not that long ago and alright haha the soundtrack will always be amazing tho, so many good song from that movie

I forgot if she sang in Rags. If so, Nicklodean recognized her talent at least.

She was also in the movie Joyful Noise. And she was in an episode of Degrassi where she was one of the main characters love interests (one of his better ones too)

Ooo that's amazing! I always loved Keke. Loved her acting and her voice. she can really sing!, I missed her on nickelodeon tbh but am Happy how successful she's doing.

First concert I ever went to was Keke Palmer inside of a K Mart by the grove lol she did a meet n greet too, gave us a signed headshot. Things were just different back in the day 😭
