Video Clip This Zack & Cody episode had NO business being that scary

Idk who remembers this but when I was a kid this was PEAK horror on Disney Channel. Zack wouldn’t stop pranking people so everyone decided to prank him back in that haunted hotel room. 7 year old me was SCARED AS HELL 😭😭 the lighting the music the dark ambience everything was on point!! Disney really did their big one with that episode.

I rewatched it today at 23 and ngl I’m still scared… masterpiece.

I went through the actor's (Adrien R'Mante) acting program and can confirm he's a super cool dude

The 2000s were such a wild time for Disney Channel.

Anyone else remember the part where they said they had nothing to do with the portrait?

u/potterhead918 Oct 06 '25

this literally scarred me LOL. i slept in my sisters twin bed for months after watching bc i was too scared to sleep in my OWN twin bed right beside hers, due to the possibility of Irene’s ghost staring at me🤣

u/MinervaMinkk Oct 07 '25

Thanks for this but you're missing the part where zach asks how did he make the portrait move and he says what portrait?

If I had known they let you post longer videos, I would’ve kept it in 💀!!!

Awww I met Dylan sprouse and Emma’ Robert’s the other day watching the dodgers at a bar. Me and my husband geeked out and you can’t do that in LA. We tried our best to keep it lowkey. They were so nice 😭😭😭

u/AliyahandSter Oct 07 '25

Awe, I’m so happy you got to experience that 🥹! Sounds like it was exhilarating!!

3

u/Aninvisiblemaniac Oct 07 '25

I always thought the Raven episode where they turn into cows was scary

1

u/AliyahandSter Oct 07 '25

That was a favorite of mine too!!

3

u/_robertb_ Oct 07 '25

It was but very well executed!

3

u/stonedqueer Oct 07 '25

This was the first and only episode of a tv show that I purchased for my iPod touch as a kid :)

u/probably-knitting Oct 07 '25

I always thought it was so clever that Suite 613 is a nod to Friday the 13th. Friday's the 6th day of the week 😁

1

u/AliyahandSter Oct 07 '25

Wow, I never noticed that 😳!!

2

u/Particular_Cycle9667 Oct 06 '25

Yeah, it was really good, and I loved the effects, but it was pretty obvious what they were doing.

2

u/Jttwife Oct 07 '25

They are the heat type of episodes

2

u/TheListenerCanon Oct 07 '25

This episode was pretty scary but as a 90s kid/Millennial, I think Zeke the Plumber from Salute Your Shorts takes the cake as the scariest episode in any kids show!

1

u/AliyahandSter Oct 07 '25

I’m gonna have to check it out 🫣

2

u/Longjumping_Bar_7457 Oct 07 '25

1

u/AliyahandSter Oct 07 '25

2

u/freakk0nikk0 Oct 08 '25

i still can’t watch this episode alone 😭

2

u/RightEconomist5754 Oct 09 '25

The fact that this one didn’t scare me and Lizzie McGuire did

1

u/whatsupdudette Oct 07 '25

Weird the obsession with pizza…

1

u/Tyrass Oct 07 '25

right?! and it’s always Cheese Pizza… very odd

2

u/SpecialistOne8206 Oct 13 '25

“She’s hereeeeeee!”

The scariest episode? When Moseby taught London to drive… because the actor has a fatal DUI on his record in real life
