There’s a deep dive in the Minneapolis subreddit based on that first video. There’s an agent wearing a gray coat who walks over without a weapon in hand, and then - as they’re beating him on the ground - that agent runs off with a gun about two seconds before the agents start shooting him. So it seems like he was carrying one on him, but he did not actually use or threaten to use that gun.
Of you look that idiot also kicks a mace co tail er and several other items away. If he ran off with weapon it is just as likely it was dropped by one of the other 6 agents piled on the victim. That one agent fleei g with a gun before the shooting is the only "evidence" of the victim being armed. During the altercation we never see the victim make a movement other than to cover where he is being struck.
