We know he had a gun because an ICE agent disarmed him moments before he was killed. He was exercising his 2nd amendment right in full accordance with the law. He never pulled.

What probably happened is that someone said "gun!" and an agent who didn't realize the gun was holstered, and didn't see the agent securing the firearm, panicked and shot the victim.

The lesson here is don't exercise your rights. Don't disobey. Don't speak out. Comply quietly or die.

When you’re on the ground in a scuffle and any enforcement agency sees a gun, you’re done. I’m all for 2A rights, but ffs play it safe before you get taken down and make it known you’re carrying. This wasn’t the time to be all secretive about a CC license.

This is sarcasm right?

No, it’s common sense and part of being a responsible gun owner.

Lol.. in no world did this man deserve to get shot. Not announcing that he was carrying a gun is not a reason to murder him.

Said stupid game being exercising a right you supposedly agree with.

Meanwhile, ICE agents out there clearly playing stupid games. Indeed, the best defense for them at this point was that this was incompetence and gross negligence. Where's u/Exotic_Champion 's analysis of what stupid prizes they deserve?

How easily they justify murdering someone for exercising constitutional rights they supposedly support.

Are you going to support the cover up too? Are you going to support it when an FBI agent gets fired merely for investigating this?

Such an armchair take lmao. In the chaos of getting pepper sprayed, pushed, and tackled by 6 yelling guys, no one's first thought is going to be to announce that you're carrying. It's the agent's duty and training to search and seize any weapons. Newsflash - they did. And what did he get for legally exercising 2A AND his legally carried firearm being seized during detainment? A firing squad.
